So I read that the reboot was only supposed to be 10 eps and that's it. But because the reboot was so successful and well-loved, they decided to do at least 3 seasons with 18 eps instead.

Ahh, no wonder.. So that mean they only did one episode to change whatever that bad ending in last one..

What do you mean? That they had to re-shoot one ep to make it seem like a cliffhanger so they can do another season?

That's from the old series, not the reboot. We didn't get Cher in the rebooted series.
