Television - Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (sometimes abbreviated to Whose Line?) is a short form improvisational comedy show. Originally a British radio programme, it later moved to television as a series made for Britain's Channel 4 before being remade for American television.

The show consists of a panel of four performers and comedians who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot, in the style of short-form improvisation games. Topics for the games are based on either audience suggestions or predetermined prompts from the host. The show takes the form of a fake game show, in which the host arbitrarily assigns points and randomly chooses a winner at the end of each episode.

Anyone still watch this show? I know it ended around 2005 but for some odd reason, I still managed to catch the reruns or watch it on YouTube.

I know it's not much but if there's anything else I should add to the first post, let me know.

I loved this show! When it was on ABC, I taped several episodes (3 VHS tapes full). I had the tapes out last week. I was always amazed at how quickly Wayne Brady could think up songs.

I used to be so obsessed with this show, and the BBC version, too. It was all about Ryan and Colin for me.

I love how they'd kiss each other occassionally.

I used to have a crush on Ryan.

Of course then Jeff Davis came along.

I loved this show.

One of my faves is when they had Weird Newscasters and Colin was the co-anchor to Deni Segell or whatever her name was

and he was attention seeking and he was like "Can you see me?!!?? Can you see me???!!!" etc. I loved him. And the tape worm thing from Scenes from a Hat

Things you wouldn't show at show and tell.

"I have a tape worm"

I loved Ryan too and how he would make fun of Drew. Like in the hoe-down thing. "I heard that Vegas has suddenly gotten broke. Apparently it was all because of one single bloke. I bet Vegas would never see this day. But thats what happens when Drew Carey eats Buffet!"

I have trouble watching that one.

The Robin Williams epidode was fun.

Topic: "If showmen worked funerals" ~ and Ryan carefully walks up pulls open the mouth, and sticks his head in.

I used to love this show.

I loved Scenes from a Hat best and when they'd mess up, like this one scene when Greg Proops' trying to walk up that little step and he falls and pulls Drew down too and then Ryan just to cover falls over too.

Classic!

I also wrote to Ryan Colin and Greg once when I was really into the show and got autographs back.

Greg answers short questions (still have that too hehe) for you, and Ryan signed it "Mr. Wonderful" or something hehe.
