What shows do you record on a regular basis?

What TV Shows do you record on a regular basis and why?

I record on regular on a regular basis are:

Dawson's Creek: I like to catch my favorite episodes when the six seasons are replayed over and over on the TBS Channel in the mornings.

General Hospital: - I will admit being a heterosexual male, I like watch this soap opera. Its got some good plots and twists on the show. I also have a big crush on the actress who plays Sam McCall.

The O.C. : - I have become addicted to this show around the time Marissa and Ryan got together. The episodes are very entertaining so I make sure to tape it so I can rewatch again before the next show comes on.

One Tree Hill: - Same as above. The episodes are very entertaining and I like to rewatch them over and over. Plus Sophia Bush is very hot.

Smallville: - I like the premise of the show and how Clark Kent came to be Superman and how he had to adjust to being different while he was in high school. The episodes are always full of action which really got me into the show.

The last show was Roswell. Nothing has moved me to do so since, though I regret not recording Viva La Bam, it gets shown so late here and I'm too tired to set up the video recorder.

I actually don't record shows to keep anymore. I only did one show, Sunset Beach, and now only have the snippets or highlights I made to save.

Today, with DVD's, I'm less apt to record and am more tempted to buy if I really really want.

(1) Days Of Our Lives- Daily, because I am at work.

(2) General Hospital- Same as above.

(3) Las Vegas- I am watching Everwood, although that will change in January, since 24 returns. Then, I'll record Everwood, and watch 24.

(4) Gilmore Girls- I don't get home until 10pm on Tuesdays.

(5) One Tree Hill- Same as above.

(6) NYPD Blue- I am watching Law & Order:SVU.

(7) Lost- I am watching Smallville.

(8) The O.C.- I am watching Joey and Will & Grace.

(9) CSI- I am watching The Apprentice.

(10) ER- I am watching Without A Trace.

When Alias returns in January, I will record Law & Order:Criminal Intent, since they both will come on at the same time.

I am a full time student with an almost full time job, so I record so many shows (all 3 CSI's, L&O and L&O:SVU, NCIS, Without a Trace, Medical Investigations, Cold Case, and ER) and watch them at weird times or during school breaks. As of right now I have only seen an episode or two of each of them (Can't wait for December break!) The only ones I record and keep are: Gilmore Girls (but I'm buying the DVD's as they come out to replace the tapes), 24 (because I hate suspense/cliffhangers so I tape them all and then watch the whole thing together when it is all over), and Lost (but when DVD's come out, I will get them. It will save my VCR from wear and tear. )

Heh, I know! Now you know what I am most likely doing over the weekends.

I didn't even list all the shows that I used to record, or that I have saved on tape, even ones that I just recently purchased the DVD's for.

More than likely, I am always recording something, because I am watching something else when one program is on, or I am not home to watch the show(s) live.

I tape Arrested Development and The O.C. because I like watching the episodes more than once. I also tape Life As We Know It because I watch The Apprentice Thursdays at 9. I don't tape any other shows unless I'm not going to be able see them when they're on.

I don't save any these, I just tape over them.

Gilmore Girls just because I like to rewatch certain scenes. Although I should probably tape The West Wing and rewatch it to catch things I may have missed watching it the first time around.

I tape Arrested Development because it's a show that just gets funnier each time you see it. I also tape Two and a Half Men because some episodes of that are just brilliant and worthy of saving. (Unfortunately, other episodes are mediocre.) I'm also taping the cartoon Fillmore! which is so much fun, but unfortunately it shows a lot of reruns.

I intend to tape House this coming Tuesday because I'll be busy watching The Amazing Race 6 at that time.

I'm a full-time student and work weekends so I rarely ever get to watch live.

I tape:

As the World Turns
General Hospital
LAX
Las Vegas (occasionally)
Degrassi: the Next Generation (occasionally)

I used to have other shows (Joey, Will & Grace, Hawaii, etc.) on the list but I've cut down drastically as you can see.

So when do I have time to watch? Late at night when I should be sleeping.
