The programme is created by Armando Iannucci, based upon the style of the BBC television sitcom The Thick of It. After a 2011 pilot written by Iannucci and Simon Blackwell, the series was commissioned for a full season.[1] The series is set to premiere on April 22, 2012. Centers on former Senator Selina Meyer who finds being Vice President of the United States is nothing like she expected and everything everyone ever warned about. Former senator Selina Meyer was a rising star in her party, a charismatic leader with White House potential. Then she became Vice President. Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars in Veep, a new HBO comedy series created by Armando Iannucci that follows the whirlwind day-to-day existence of the Vice President as she puts out political fires, juggles a busy public schedule and demanding private life, and defends the president’s interests, even as she tries to improve her dysfunctional relationship with the chief executive. Finally saw it, i think it works and thats due to JLD - she doesnt over do it, and is spot on, and i think each character works and so on
Looking forward to next week This is still my fave moment of the episode but there are others (esp the one where Selina loses it after what Amy did lol), even though i saw it in promo    __________________

I also liked the bit in the episode before where Mike was just talking away whilst Selina wasnt even in her chair, and then she screamed Mike from the other doorway __________________

Currently watching this phenomenal show.
I love Selina, she's so douchy in a classy way, so relatable and lovely. Although I was rooting for Poehlerbear at the Emmys, I really think that Julia deserved that award.   The TV Screen | Movies, TV, and Music __________________
