Thanks for the new thread.

I hope any action doesn't shutdown the industry but I don't see how it can't have an impact.

I know right? I mean we're already technically in a defacto strike, so I don't know what the SAG board is trying to go on about. A strike would be bad!!!

I'll be updating the first post very soon.

Happy New Year everyone!

Ughh TV is going to go all to hell and die if there's another strike. I don't think half the shows can survive another one. Viewership levels still haven't recovered from the actors strike because people just found other stuff to do. Now another one would just kill people's confidence completely.

For instance if I had to wait another 2 years between 24 seasons I think I'd just pass, even though it's one of my favourite shows. I think a lot of people would decide the same with other shows.

I don't think there's going to be a strike. If there is one, that would be the stupidest thing ever. Now is not the time.

Still waiting on word as to when 24 will start here. We got the movie a week after the US late last year and I hope to see it within a few weeks here.

At least if there is some type of strike 24 is 100% completed ,so it would not be affected by any type of actors strike.

I honestly would be completely and utterly shocked if the actors went on strike. The economy is a complete and utter mess and they'd just look like a bunch of babies crying about more money when people don't even have jobs. I hope they'll just settle and end this madness. It's ridiculous already.
