Do you think the show is coming towards the end now, or do you think it's likely to go on for a while longer? I love what they've done with it and I almost feel that with my favourite tv shows I never want to see them go so long that they ruin it (e.g. Greys anatomy), and I think it's really cool when the creators decide to end a show because they feel like it's at a natural end. I watch orphan black and while I hate that it's ending, it's ending in it's total prime, and it'll be one of those shows I can re watch endlessly and love every season. It's obviously not at that stage yet but Do you think shameless will go on for a long time? I'm happy for season 8 at least!!

One of the best scenes imo
It is the type of show that can go on for longer because it doesn't have a really specific end point that they're going towards. But I think it's better if they decide when to end it and go out on a high note than keep dragging it out until it gets canceled. It's my favourite tv shows and I will cry it end. Otherwise I will happy if it end is soon (one or two more seasons), I prefer this than it gets canceled or ruined.

Yeah I agree with that too, I am LOVING it but one or 2 seasons would probably be what it needs to tie it up properly. I'm not sure what else they can really do with frank if they keep going forever tbh
 d'you think it will ever get the recognition it deserves  I feel like it's got to be one of the most underrated and robbed shows in terms of accolades. The writing and acting is just far too good to go like 10 seasons without any proper recognition, especially when there's other shows that still get awards for years that don't even deserve it!!  |

Yup but it also deserves to be a planned ending versus due to being canceled. I hope the writers get that.

I really hope so too!!! I think an open ending would be just awful, after so many seasons of getting attached to this family!! I don't even know what my ideal ending would be haha, I guess as long as they're all happy and doing well
