its hard to remember all the different seasons and what happened but around the time that mickey was losing focus, so probably season 6-8

I totally agree, Alexa. I think with Shameless being available on Netflix now though it's grown in popularity. More people are aware of it.

It's definitely increased their viewership over the years. Like most shows though the story lines were much stronger in the early years.

That said, I still enjoy it just not as much as I once did.

It is. It's also completely different from other shows SL and characters wise. New season officially premiers September 9.
