Are you kidding me? This sucks.
 I just finished binge watching both seasons today, all excited for S3...and then I read this. I don't want to see random people getting chased by a serial killer...I could watch any horror movie for that. I want to see THESE people chased by a serial killer. __________________

The MTV scripted drama will return with a brand-new cast, location and producing team as the franchise will focus on a less white story.
Brett Matthews (The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural) has been tapped as Scream's latest showrunner. (his first time serving as showrunner.) Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere and Yaneley Arty will join the series as executive producers. The series will feature an entirely new cast — which insiders say will be more inclusive as the series looks to put a new spin on a proved concept that has not been embraced on the small screen. source |

Thanks for the info. That's a bit strange turn of events. I'm interested to see how it plays out and the audience's response.
Given the new direction and executive producers and show runner, I wonder if the old cast will be mentioned at all. __________________
