Television - Samurai Girl on ABC Family #1

A teenage girl tries to balance a normal life as the adopted daughter of wealthy parents with the Samurai traditions of her ancestors.

This is a mini-series/movie. I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. It was not as corny as I thought. Did anybody else watch it?

I've seen the previews a ton of times because I watch Greek. I thought it was funny they were using music from the Buffy series finale. I watched like 5 minutes of it last night, but it didn't really grab me, but maybe I'll give it another chance later. I was really tired last night.

Brendan Fehr is pretty though.

Hmm. So far, part 1 is better than part 2.

Part 2 is funnier though. I love Sheryl and Otto.

I want more Jake/Heaven, though.

Hmm. I didn't care for the ending that much. I guess Jake is coming back......and that guy is still alive.

I wonder if it will become a series.

Otto needs to get over his crush on Heaven. She is obviously not interested.

Yay! I'm so glad there's a thread for this!

I have to say I wasn't going to watch this show, but I ended up watching and I'm totally hooked! I guess mostly b/c of the Jake & Heaven love story!!

It was awesome!

They just cannot end it that way!! They seriously better be making this into a regular series! I know Jake was coming back, but I want to see it! And I need to know how Heaven gets out of that predicament she was in at the end!

I really hope it's released on DVD too! I'm still hoping for it to be a series tho...

Somebody else liked it, too.

I did not care for the ending. No closure. The writers/producers at Comic Con said that if the event does well, it could turn into a series.

This show needs to come back!

I actually just saw that video and was about to post it!

I heard that and got so excited! I really hope the ratings are good and they see how much support it has!

I really hope it comes back. I wanted Jake and Heaven to end up together, but I was glad they left it open for the future.

I'm currently watching part 4, so I've just skimmed all the way down here. Anyhoo, THIS SERIES IS AWESOME!!! Really one of ABCFam's best!
