Miami 7
Episode 13 - "Reprise"
Premiered: July 1, 1999

With their contract with Howard about to end and their deal with Parsons now expired, the band looks back over their Miami escapades. They talk about what they're gonna do next, taking advice from Jill Ward, who's now become their mate. Will they stay in Miami? Or will they go back home to England and get jobs with the Cleanezee Carpet Company? Hmm.

I love the ending of the episode. It's so perfect with the crossroads.

Back To The Fifties and Boyfriends & Birthdays both aired approximately ten years ago. I was never able to find a date for Back To The Fifties but I do know Boyfriends & Birthdays first aired on December 12th, 1999.

So... which special do you like better? Any specific moments that stand out?

When I was kid, I would run to the television if Back To The Fifties was on but now I think I like Boyfriends & Birthdays better.

I'll try and have a rewatch today!

I always loved the Back To The '50's special. Even as a child. It's the first episode I remember watching.

Yeah, I remember ABC Family would have S Club marathons all the time on holidays and I would always get excited because it meant they would air Back To The Fifties.

The 10 year anniversary of L.A. 7 is coming up... anyone having a rewatch with me like we did Miami 7??

Aw, so glad someone is watching and it's not just me! I just love that episode though. I love how everyone is just freaking out over the monster. And I love the groups they split up into... because I'm for Paul/Rachel.

Episode 2 – “Clever Camp”
Premiered: April 13, 2000

The band realise that they need money and Paul convinces a professor to give them jobs at his summer camp. But this is no ordinary camp – it’s for super brainy kids, whose idea of fun is a five-hour astrophysics session with the professor. The 7’s decide the mini-Einsteins need more fun and less study and liven up the lessons with chaotic results.

S Club 7 sing: LOVE TRAIN
Sorry... I'm a bit late in posting this one.

Episode 3 – “Hello Hollywood”
Premiered: April 20, 2000

S Club 7 finally arrive in LA but after driving around Hollywood for three hours the band are still not famous. So, instead of their hoped-for Beverly Hills mansion, they check into a parp motel, from which they get evicted the following morning. As a last resort the band decide to sell their beloved Chevy to raise some cash. Brad saves the day, however, when he gets run over by the manic roller-blading ex-hippie, Joni, who, feeling bad about the accident, invites the 7s to stay in one of her apartments.

S Club 7 sing: NATURAL
This episode is my absolute favorite of the entire series. I just love it. It makes me laugh and cry and I love the performance of Natural.

Episode 2 is a great one too!!! I never laugh harder than at their performance.

Meanwhile, Paul finds himself talked into going on a date with Joni to impress her best friend.

S Club 7 sing: I’LL KEEP WAITING
This is an okay episode for me. Although I do love the guys and Rachel dressing Paul up for a date with Joni!

Episode 5 – “The News”
Premiered: May 4, 2000

Paul falls madly, deeply in love with Linda, a scary TV newsreader, who constantly talks as if she’s reading the news. The rest of the 7s are not impressed with Paul’s new girlfriend, especially when she tells him to leave the band, cos “news-reading is the only option”. Meanwhile, Hannah and Tina try to impress a couple of surfer dudes by dressing up as surfer dudettes, and Jo’s having major trouble getting to sleep, cos Bradley keeps her awake with his sleep-dancing and sleep-hoovering!

S Club 7 sing: SPIRITUAL LOVE
Sorry I've gotten a little behind on this. I've been so busy! Anyways, I still have to rewatch this episode so next time I post I'll let you know what I think.

Episode 5 was really cute. I loved how Jo couldn't find a decent place to sleep. I also love that Tina and Jon stay up all night talking every night.
