I happen to think on the run, I am sure Isabel's marriage ended and she and Kyle ended up together because he was pining for her. And he knew the real Isabel, and was coming to terms with it but was fine with, mostly LOL.
I like this theory of Isabel and Kyle getting together while on the run. Kyle was definitely a character that went from annoying at the beginning of season 1 to very likable throughout the series.

I do remember shipping Kyle and Tess at one point.

Yeah Kyle was the character I wanted gone in Season 1. Even after he and Liz broke up. He just was annoying. But started get better towards the end of the first season one. But really came into his character in Season 2, and Season 3. I really enjoyed him by the end.

So I could see he and Isabel getting together on the road. Being together with two committed couples, one married and one very close to it. Isabel and Kyle would bond even more together than they did before leaving Roswell, so I could see it.

No, I want a new chapter. I don't want a whole new show. While I can see why it appeals, but the show is a cult classic because of the original show. And they need to tie in the original in someway.

That certaintly came out of nowhere... Even in the land of all these reboots... But then I can see why they would do it.

Jason and Shiri's chemistry is what sold Max and Liz. And was able to keep fans through some of those extreme obstacles. Their chemistry was incredible. And the whole cast with each other. So no, I am not interested if it doesn't have any remotely connection to the original show or cast.

Same. Can network TV shows stop it with these reboots? I want all original shows.

I am not against reboots. The networks go for them because of the brand loyalty, or just being able to create some new sparks out of an old idea. But with Roswell, which never a hit to begin with...but a cult classic. Because it used to be a television show, why not update it with the second generation.

Max and Liz's daughter. Maria and Michael's children. Have Max and Liz's daughter come home to her parent's hometown, where her grandparents still live and fall in love with a undocumented boy. And she have the powers. Or question Max and Isabel's citizenship and ask whether her father was undocumented. He was adopted, but with no birth parents on earth just a pod... There are questions...

I do not want a whole new Roswell. With a new version of Max and Liz. Jason and Shiri were spectacular in the roles.

The fact that this show is a cult classic is why I love it. I don't want it rebooted in some form. It takes away the essence of it being a cult classic.

Same town, possibly a different story altogether and different cast. It will be based on the Roswell High book series.

Although not exactly the basis of the books if the pitch is what ends up as the show. Love interest ends up being a cop. Seems like they might just be taking that Liz in the books was Hispanic. And using the New Mexico landscape to be to bring in today's world concerns about undocumented "aliens".

I haven't read the book series. Only one of the books. So I know it was different from what the original show ended up being. Which is why because I was already exposed to the show, I preferred the show to the book series... So there is room to do it, But given there was a original show that is a cult classic, and has it's own fans. They should tie it in, and not try to redo it only using the name of the show the same.

Given CW doesn't have much room on it's schedule. And I know they are trying to do a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Which seems in the vein of what they are doing with Archie, and Riverdale. Chances are that might have more of a success, than Roswell...

So I am very uneasy about it. And against it. But I guess we'll have to wait to see more info...

If anything this has awakened much more interest in the original Roswell.

I read probably 3 but I've forgotten those. It's been a long time. They were not really canon on the show (in terms of SLs) but can be kind of like a side story? I definitely prefer the show to the book and perhaps I can even see the reboot being better than the books. But yeah, I'm iffy and I'm gonna pass on this one.
