But this is the same reason why I never got passed S1 of Last Man Standing. All of the negative jokes about Obama got to be too much in that show. The show seemed to be more about dissing him at times than actually working with the characters. As for Will and Grace, there's a very good balance between the two sides. Will and Grace are Democrats and Karen is a Republican, but the show does a good job at making it so that it's still enjoyable without driving you completely insane with both sides. __________________

As long as they stick away from the politics more, I will keep watching.

I enjoyed both episodes. I loved the politics and thought it fit in with the characters perfectly. My favorite part so far is Darlene's son, Mark. He is charismatic and seems so sincere. I enjoyed watching Darlene as a mom, too.
Everyone seemed just like they always were, but more. They all evolved so naturally. I used to love, Becky, and in these two episodes, at first, I could not believe that she could be so misguided. I wanted her to think things through before she jumped into something life changing. But then, I started thinking about it, and she is being absolutely true to her previous character. As the series progresses, I am hoping she will grow up a little, though. DJ and his daughter will be fun characters to explore. I love that DJ grew up and married Geena. Hopefully, we will get to know their daughter Mary better. I really like Rosanne and Dan's marriage. They've got a strong family, and I feel as though I've known them all for years. I'm looking foward to more epsisodes! __________________

we didnt really didnt get to see DJ and his daughter too much in this, they were just background people. i hope we learn more about their story more in future eps.
i agree mark is my fav character so far. i loved the conversation roseanne had with him and then again with his class about him. i think that will be a great storyline to explore more. __________________

Given there are only nine episodes for now... Although we know it's a gimme that there will be a second season of the revival. And they had a lot to get done in the premiere episode. Set the stage. Yeah, I hope we get more of DJ's story as we go along...
They all needed time get used to roles again. Although, John, Sara and Laurie were the most natural in the premiere, it was obvious they had stayed acting over the last 20 years. But evweryone in the second episode was more natural and fitting in... I enjoyed it. I have issues with Roseanne as a person. But I enjoy the show for what it is, and I even enjoy what they are trying to say as a family... I love how Darlene is with her children. I am looking forward to seeing how she deals with Harris's teen years given how much pain she gave her own parents during those years... So far so good... I didn't care for Becky's storyline as much, but the humor around it was fun. __________________
