I think Nicholas (Dermot Mulroney) might have some past story with Martin (like what we saw already in a previous ep) but it doesn't seem to me that Malcolm & Ainsley know him? I'm still unclear as to what deal Nicholas had with Martin. But now that he's dead, at least Martin doesn't need to honor that deal they made now. I want to know Martin's reaction when he finds out how and who killed Nicholas. He'll be proud of Ainsley, I'm sure.

Maybe we will know more about it in next season as long they better renew it..

I have not heard anything about Upfronts. Are they doing that virtually?

Also how in the world does Ainsley know how to kill like that? We barely know much about her other than her life with her family.
