I only caught up with this show last December during my holiday break. I binge-watched S2 in probably 3 days. The show is really wonderful and both Aiden & Eleanor have amazing chemistry.

"There are a lot of twists and turns – Ross and Demelza are in quite a pickle," she says. "They're trying to fix their marriage, and there's a big twist ahead for Demelza."

PBS airing most likely next year? U.S. is delayed with some UK shows. Newest season premieres on BBC One (UK) this Sunday.

The episode was slightly different from what i remember in the book, but it was entertaining. I don't like the fact Ross is ignoring the fact he has a bastard child. It's hurting Demelza, it would hurt her less if he just accepted it now rather than down the freaking line. Everyone is looking beautiful too.

The promo for the next episode has got me so freaking excited.

I watched the old PBS version of Poldark many, many years ago which starred Robin Ellis. This new version has several things different from it. Makes me want to watch it more.

Good start. Marriage, a birth & death all in one episode. Caroline & Dwight reunited. Francis & Elizabeth's son is getting more screentime too. Demelza is too good for Ross and it's sad that her father is unwell.

And I think I already ship this.

This one feels as though it has a more modern take on events. It's a nice change.

It's interesting you say that Lindsay, have you read the books?

Lindsay, I already ship them too!

Caught up on the 6 episodes I was behind today

And I remembered why I had left the show hanging for so long

I started off loving and rooting for Ross. Didn't care all that much for Demelza. But then I grew to love Demelza more and more and I ended up just liking her
I don't find Ross to be the most likable, rootable character
I don't hate the guy But with some of the decisions he made and is still making, I just can't
