Not seen the In Plain Site promos yet. But I'll get this added to our thread guide.

I was watching old Conan episodes while bored at work yesterday and found this interview with Mary McCormack from monday... I love her even more now! She seems really laid back and down to earth.. She talked a little bit about the play shes in now, Boeing-Boeing (which she is getting rave reviews for) and some about In Plain Sight...made me really excited for the show to start!

No problem! I also found these clips on Movie Web, they really show off the great dynamic between Mary McCormack and her partner, love the dead pan sense of humor..

I am really really interested in seeing this show. I love Mary M. as an actress.

I don't get the USA Network where I live but I will be sure to look this one up later.

I finally watched the pilot tonight and I really like it. Perhaps it was a little too much in one episode... but Mary McCormack is great as Mary. Maybe I'm going crazy, but in certain bits I could see a little Veronica Mars in her --which is AWESOME. Particularly during and after the scene in the Native-American bar w/the soap and the "I hope he calls". So funny. I'm definitely really excited for Sunday.

I try to watch it but tune it out after five minutes. I just thought that they were trying too hard with the tough chick that doesn't give a crap, and has trouble letting people in emotionally. I know I should probably give it more time but it just that Shannon seems to be one of those characters. I like tough women who can kick ass, but I already seen way too many characters with the same personality traits.

I loved the premier too! And i have to agree with you that Mary McCormack is probably the best part, she just plays the tough girl role really well, and i feel like she adds a little something to it that you dont see in The Closer or Saving Grace.. I also totally agree that they funniest part was the "I hope he calls" line

I liked her family too, especially Lesley Anne Warren, and i'm looking forward to them delving more into her personal life as the season goes on (hopefully more cristian fuentes shirtless too )...I'm definitely gonna stick with this show

"In Plain Sight" USA's best debut in 4 years
Mon Jun 2, 2008 9:14pm EDT

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "In Plain Sight," USA Network's new drama about the witness protection program, got off to a good start with 5.3 million viewers tuning in for Sunday's debut.

It ranks as the channel's most-watched series premiere since "The 4400," which kicked off with 7.4 million viewers in July 2004. More recently, "Burn Notice" averaged 4 million in its series premiere last summer, while the network debut of NBC refugee "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged 3.8 million last October.

USA said the male/female skew among the key adult demos was nearly even. Mary McCormack stars as a U.S. Marshal who oversees the program in Albuquerque, N.M.

It was okay. They need to bring up the pace, because it dragged on a bit.
I think Mary is real in her role. I like the chemistry between her and her witty partner Marshall. The detective is cool. Her mother and the boss are alright.

I think it dragged on a bit because there was a lot of introduction going on. I'm sure it will pick up in upcoming episodes.

The pilot bored me a bit to be honest though it picked up towards the end.........enough for me to give the 2nd episode another shot.

I like Mary and her partner and Christian de la Fuente.
