Hope you guys don't mind na I started the new thread.

and naku, I don't have time to watch TV, so yun, DVR is my best friend. Yessir!

did anyone watch Miss Universe? Lagi ng nananalo ang Pinas ng miss photogenic ha! Hanggang pictures lang ba ang beauty natin?

I was so rooting for Japan though. I liked her since she came out in her samurai costume and sword.

My mom and I were looking at the official website and looked through the contestant pics and I was like, "aww, Japan's cute." So I guess I wasn't wrong to think that. Too bad she was only first runner up.

She kinda looked like Barbie Hsu...no wonder they love Da S in Japan.

I watched him in Wowowee at sa The Buzz. ganda nga ng skin kahit si Kris na-insecure sa ganda ng kutis

ang cute nung nag Tagalog siya sa Wowowee. I think he understands English kasi kahit na dubbed yung sa The Buzz eh it seemed he would answer Kris' questions quickly naman and me "Yeah" "no" "yes" naman plus smile so I am guessing he understood it unless galing ng pagka-edit.

Uy mukhang me magandang Korean drama na naman. Its called "Over the Rainbow" parang mix ng "so u think you can dance" and "american idol" Start niya sa JUly 26 so pag me news ako share ko.

yung stars okay lang sila, member ng singing group na "Fly to the sky"

Jan, thanks for the new thread. and yeah, i was rooting for Japan too. i wished she won since it's like the first time Japan had a candidate who made it to the finals. eh Puerto Rico nman eh lagi nananalo. besides, she reminds me of some skelly girl!

siyet! it should've been Japan. kaines kc ung translator nya. they could've gotten an American-Japanese as her translator. feeling ko eh panget ung pagkakatranslate nung sagot nya since the translator stummered pa and she seemed like lost of words. and ung costume, yeah, astig! i wasn't able to watch ung AM airing coz i didn't know. good thing i was chatting with my tita there and she told me that Japan won. cyempre she told me since she knows my present addiction with anything Japanese. and un, i was just in time last night to see her in her Azumi get-up. astig!!

Je, for sure the translator sucked! Pero astig nga Miss Japan eh...she speaks 4 languages and she answered one question in French kaya tameme yung translator and whatever she said never got translated.

She speaks good English din naman, I wonder why she didn't just try to answer in English.

Xsy, are you talking about that new girl who co-owns (?) the place with Russell? Haha, yeah, it's so not believable na they're mga balikbayan no!

talaga Ms. Japan speaks 4 languages wow. sana she spoke English na lang. sa ofc ng tita ko they really wanted Ms. Japan to win.

eh di sana she gets pregnant kasi naman if James Yap has his way she wont be on tv anymore.

advantage talaga if you know how to speak English kasi minsan its the translators that mess up. "Lost in Translation" talaga. I remember one time na Ms. Venezuela ata yun na she needed a translator but she corrected the translation kasi maraunong siyang mag-english pero given that limited time mas mabilis siguro siyang mag-isip in her native language. If a candidate knows how to speak English me points ata yun kasi at least it means that shes abreast with the times.

Isy nasa Wowowee and The Buzz lang siya. Sa Wowowee yung cute kasi at least me translator na okay naman and he spoke Tagalog. Sa The Buzz sus it was dubbed eh buti sana if English dubbed pero ginawa rin siyang Taglish

Rai, yep. she said that. nways, feeling ko lang eh even she got preggy, kung di lang din manganganak na cya eh di pa din pipirmi sa bahay yan. tska i think she has some issues with his son regarding having a new baby. di ba SP ung kiddo nya so mejo mahirap mapaintindi. kc i remember, she mentioned b4 na he wants only a baby sis and not a baby bro. nyeh! pwede ba un? even AI won't guarantee anong gender ung magiging kid. or it can? i'm not sure though.

re Ms. Japan, yeah, i think there's an additional points if u know english, or id u know other languages but since english is the standard language of the world. plus points din tlaga but not necessarily the ground of becoming the title holder.
