Perception #1-Eric Mccormack is back
Premiering Monday June 9th at 9/10 Central TNT
Drama fans are about to meet one of the most unique crime solvers on television when TNT premieres this fascinating new series about an eccentric neuroscience professor who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Eric McCormack stars as Dr. Daniel Pierce, who possesses an intimate knowledge of human behavior and a masterful understanding of the way the mind works. Although Pierce's mind may be brilliant, it's also damaged as he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. I think I can enjoy this show. I'm giving it a chance, I am just waiting for it to set itself apart from the other shows it seems to have been birthed from. Personally, i think they could have cast better than RLC...maybe it's her, maybe it's her character but she is so bland. I am a huge Eric McCormack fan though I actually like him in this. I can't wait to see where they go with it.

I've watched all three episodes of this show, and I find it to be pretty far-fetched but intriguing. Last night's episode was really well done, and it was both sad and touching that the amnesia victim's mother got her daughter back, but that her daughter will always live in a world where she's 17. I think that Natalie is someone from Daniel's past that died, and I'll be interested to find out what her relationship with Daniel was and what happened to her. This is the first time I've seen Rachael Leigh Cook since I saw her in "She's All That," so it was good to see her again.
