I think she was also lead/main cast on Suits but the story of that show initially revolved around 2 characters played by Patrick J. Adams & Gabriel Macht so technically she's not lead.

Even tho Suits mainly focus on Adams and others, right?

Yes and her character was around in all the eps, she was a main cast and has her own SL on the show too. But promotions for Suits was all about the characters of PJA & Gabriel, if I recall.

She was the reason I watched the show in the first place.

I had no idea who the rest of the cast were, I didn't know them until Suits happened.

I'm not exactly sure why she left Suits but I'm thinking it's probably because she was offered this show.

If I remember correctly, Gina wanted to be close to her family and Suits is mostly filmed in Toronto
