I kind of zoned off in that ep. The only stuff I remembered was the call with Jeff & Jessica, my loves. And it also looks like Jessica is finally getting through with Angela.

There were some good scenes with Derrick & Keri but not really interesting for me. Also that driver, looks to be in deep and shady stuff for the Mayor so Jessica needs to watch out for him.

Not sure but S1 should have 10 eps?

Most first season never that great.. I mean, I dunno why people expect it and that's why I always have lowest expectation and not expect everything I want plus one thing that I'm glad that Gina can able to interact w/ everyone as long it's about her..

There are only 2 characters I like so far: Jessica & Keri. The rest are so-so. I know it's still early on but hopefully something will happen in the middle to make me excited because right now, there really isn't anything exciting in Chicago and working for the Mayor. Jessica had more stuff to deal with in NY/Suits and I was hoping she'd at least have more dirty stuff to handle now that she works for the Mayor but as it is, there's nothing interesting so far.

I'll probably give it 1 or 2 more but yeah, I'll see if it picks up eventually.

I have a lot of shows where the first seasons are amazing.

The show just feels very... separated? Like all the characters are kind off on the sides doing boring stuff. Nothing that exciting. I wanted the whole cast to be together more. It really feels like we are in like season 5 or 6 already and they have ran out of storylines. And for a first season that is not good. It feels like suits but like, the more boring version of suits. It needs some more exciting stuff going on.

I agree. I want more interaction. Like in that recent ep, the Mayor wasn't even around. It looks more cohesive if everyone interacts. They're all supposed to work for the Mayor and yet here's Jessica doing her own thing and then Derrick/Keri doing theirs. Also I'm still not sure on the significance of their roles. We know that Jessica & Keri interact with the Mayor the most but Derrick only reports to Keri? And then everything else feels separate, especially the SL with Angela which only concerns Jessica (for now).

Even tho I feel like this is the reason that she has no choice plus I don't think anyone would give her a job if it wasn't the Mayor.. Plus I enjoy seeing Jessica do her things even tho she sure pick up fast.. Even tho I did watch first season of Suits and it was alright, but something missing right there..
