Hi everyone. I couldn't find a general OZ there here, and although the show has been gone for sometime doesn't mean it hasn't changed its place as one of the best Late Night Dramas of all time

So for anyone who doesn't know this show. OZ was an HBO series that ran for 6 years. It tells the stories about the violent, gritty world of prison life.

Off the top of my head, memorable characters

Beecher
Keller
Augustus -- the narrator of this drama.
The O'Reilly Brothers *and off screen brothers as well* Ryan and Cyrill.
Dr. Gloria Nathan
Adebesi (sp?)

My favorite character is pretty obvious by my avy. lol.

Great idea to start a thread.
We'll see first part of season 4 ending tonight in Croatia ("You Bet Your Life", episode 32), so I'm not spoiled for everything. So I'll lurk mostly for next two months, but after that - party time in Em City!
And it truly is still one of the best dramas.

1. What is your favorite episode or season?

Oy. Tough one.
I honestly don't know. Each episode is better than the one before.
I loved crazy Beecher and season 2.
And I loved season 3., with B/K storyline getting more real, and Adebisi actually being funny, and Said getting to be not so full of himself. Plus - Miss Sally and Nooter and Pecky!

2. Favorite relationship on the show.

Beecher/Keller. Most sick and twisted, ****ed up romance on TV. (And I'm a Spuffy!)
I also love Mukada/Miguel friendship.
And Ryan/Gloria story.
And Said/Beecher friendship, as well as Busmalis/Rebadow (they are funny!).

3. Most memorable moment?

Uh, where to start.
Beecher finally standing up to Vern (chair through the pod window and gym scene) , and beginning of 'crazy Beecher' period.
First B/K kiss scene.
Beecher killing Matzger (sp?). (Yeah - it's not hard to see who is my favourite character. )
Gay puppet discussion.
Season 3. end montage.
Ryan killing Keenan.

And much much more...

Wow! Spike It Up!! Love the avies Hehe, seriously, I'm soooo drawn into the series, I can watch it over and over and not get tired of watching it because the characters are written THAT GOOD!! I know of some people who are like, it's too violent, etc...yet, for me it's like, well it's a prison not a prep. school. lol. I mean with all the supposed "rappers" talking about thug life, etc. OZ should seriously give people a different idea about prison life...

No, I'm not a pro or anything...but man, let's just say that for as manipulative as my character is in my story...O'Reily was the obvious choice for a name. lol.

10) When you always mistake Anthony Edwards for Terry Kinney (MacManus), because Kinney is cooler. lol

11) You find the color grey, and iron shackles sexy.

12) You find bunk beds the only way to go in order to sleep.

13) When watching Lost, Harold Perrineau (Augustus Hill) doesn't look the same without a wheelchair and a shank kit hidden in the chair's arm.

Is he persistant or what? Talk about hardcore love right there...their relationship is soo complicated and strange...but sooo is every other one too.

Don't remember the exact season, maybe 3? When Beecher and Keller started to get really chummy .

Beecher and Keller's first kiss. That was a hot moment, especially when Keller murmurs, "I love you, Toby." Also loved their New Year's Eve reunion .
