Haven't seen the ep but that recap makes me desperate and...

Give Colby A Girlfriend' department. I now pray to God that they are not setting him up with Liz.

I was afraid they would do that after they brought her back in the last ep she was in esp since he wanted to ask her out earlier in the season. I will be really disappointed ..heartbroken Seriously I will

I saw it, and not my favourite episode esp the case but there were a few fun things in the episode like

Charlie/Amita/Alan/Amita's parents

Charlie/Larry/Alan scene when Charlie is talking about the dinner disaster

Charlie/Larry in the studio

And after watching that dinner, not unjustly so. I felt so bad for Charlie. I mean when Alan agrees with him you know it had to be pretty bad. And all I could think about in terms of Amita is 'you DUMB ****!' How could she really be that stupid and not see how that whole incident made Charlie feel. I forgave in the end because she realized the oops and attempted to make up for it. It's nice to know that the parents will no longer be an issue.

You know there was no excuse for Amita to not see through what her parents were up to. Indian parents won't ever invite a boy along with them unless they want them to marry their daughter, she should know this.

I was surprised the parents were won over that quickly. But then her mother taught Charlie was cute

Charlie is not ready for marriage, neither is Amita. Will be interesting to see now where does this relationship goes.

Colby/Liz? ?Are there absolutely no girls left for Colby in this world?? He is HOT and a super hero, his option is only Liz?? I didn't like it, there are setting this up for further drama Don/Liz/Colby even though Don has Robin, there will be some awkwardness if Colby/Liz happen.

Liz is okay as a guest star but no way she should be on the team permanently

And unless I am completely mistaken, I believe the actress from NCIS who plays Jardin was the wife who was killed by a car bomb. If so, it is quite a change from what I am used to seeing her play.

I LOVE Colby! And what I would hate to see most in this world is for him to be made a pawn in the 'Don Eppes relationship fiasco' game. He deserves more than that. And what I totally don't want to see is Colby getting together with Liz, only to have something happen with Don and Robin (God forbid) and than Liz cheats on Colby with Don. Suddenly Numb3rs is a soap opera. It is exactly what we don't need.

I don't think they would go the soap opera line (Don's love life is a soap opera in itself, don't think they want to add to that ) but get someone else for him, someone new

so Megan leaving seems like it is confirmed(or am I wrong?)
I really really liked and was very developed in her character so it's going to take me awhile to get used to the new girl. I know it happens in TV world but everytime a character I adore leaves, I feel like the show has slapped me or something...

I know it's really hard to let go of the characters we love. (on another one of my fave shows a character is going to leave too ) But in the case of Megan

the actress Diane Farr is pregnant with twins, so it was her decision to leave the show, not much the writers can do about that

Season Finale

When Worlds Collide...Charlie goes nuts and does something overly emotional and his so called friends/girlfriend instead of talking him out of it sit by his side and watch him to do it..WHAT THE HELL??

I have mixed feelings about this episode, I was disappointed by a few things but all things with Charlie were intense. Why did he do it?? Oh wait I know why so that we think that Don/Charlie team has been split up and we obsess the entire hiatus. But since this show is called Numb3rs I don't see charlie going anywhere. They couldn't have come up with something else?

Anyway back to the episode..this was not even close to what an awesome humdinger of a finale we had last season. But I guess you can't expect it every season. Colby can only do so much even with his super powers

The case was okay. A lot of ASSUMPTIONS, I can see why Charlie was so unhappy. No facts just a lot of hypothesis, he doesn't work that way. The baddie had the worst accent ever and a fake beard (yeah I had time to notice these things, says a lot about the episode.) Felt really bad for that scientist Phil? and was abosutely dumbfounded by the disclosure that The law against passing restricted information is classified???? WTH?? Are they kidding me?? How do you abide by the law without knowing what the law is?? I am so confused???

Hated that baldie FBI guy, what a jerk

Not much Larry/Amita in this episode and when they were there they let Charlie break the invisible law (well not invisible to charlie, he knew about it.)

I was so disappointed by Megan's farewell, no scene with Don. She might as well have disappeared like Terry. I know Don usually avoids this kind of stuff but come on they could have given us a bit more than just Colby and David carrying her boxes. She didn't even say good bye to Charlie or Amita. I think there should have been more.


So Charlie loses his security clearance, what will he do now?? Actually I am more curious as to how they will bring him back? What disaster will need Charles' help? Who will replace Megan?

And Don is going to be is serious trouble next season. I think all the working against protocol stuff is going to come back to haunt him. Also wasn't impressed by him not taking Charlie's side basically because Charlie was not just saying things because of his friendship with the scientiest but he had his Math to prove it. Don doubted him and his math, that was so not cool

An okay episode and Good bye Megan

Now that I have had some time to stew the whole ep over, I think that I am finally ready to say what I thought about it.

THE GOOD:

Charlie getting a serious backbone. Although what he did was close to professional suicide, I totally respected the fact that Charlie stood his ground and did in the end what was right. I was so proud of the fact that he didn't fold just because that would put him and Don at odds.

Loved Ravi Kapoor's guest spot. Sad he had to get arrested in the process but I wouldn't mind seeing him on again. I just felt so bad for his character because he was trying to do good and the government was telling him he couldn't.

They didn't break up Larry and Megan. With her leaving, I feared that would spell the end of the relationship and I would cry and hate the writers for it. But they left it open ended enough that the relationship between the two could continue by mention only.

NO Liz!!

THE BAD:

Once again Don has his head up his @ss. I really hoped that we had moved past this episodes ago, but yet we still find ourselves in the same place. Don should trust in Charlie's gut enough to listen to him when he has something to say. And like a totally @ssh*le, he drives Charlie to make a decision only to be pissed off that Charlie made that decision. The only good that comes out of it is that when Charlie comes back, maybe Don will finally truly appreciate all that Charlie does.

Not much of a cliff hanger. But it is hard to top the whole 'Colby is a spy' story. Obviously Charlie will be vindicated and will get his clearance back and will go back to working side by side with the FBI. That's a no duh! If it were any different there would be no show.

I'll agree that Megan's send off was a little lack luster. I agree that Don should have been there to say goodbye but I get the feeling he really isn't any good at those so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing.

The FBI was made to look like a bunch of idiots. They let themselves get played by an IRA member with a bad fake accent. I mean come on people. How could they really be that stupid? Or that desperate to achieve their agenda?


Overall the ep wasn't bad. Not a good cliffhanger but alot of drama.

Now that is the question of the summer.

The only thing I have heard is that it will be some female with prior law enforcement experience (not FBI) and who has their own agenda. This was from TV Guide.

But I have not heard about any specific actress being cast in the role.

I thought it was time for a change. Now you can stare at Matt Goss for an eternity. But you have to admit, he's not hard on the eyes at all.

I hope they cast a good actress...there is alot of testosterone on that team lol
