nice i didn't know he was in this video. since Normal People, he also appeared on a Rolling Stones video. I'm sure people thought young Leo DiCaprio was just a pretty face back in the day. Things turned out great for him. Time will tell where Paul Mescal's career will go.
Paul recently won the Breakthrough Actor award at GQ Awards and watches the last episode of Normal People: __________________

fwiw i despise the show a little bit because i was involved with a maryanne type IRL (an average looking, but lovely lady), and her s/o was a mcdreamy like a connell on normal people
maryanne is lucky to have a guy like mcdreamy, but mcdreamy can have whoever the hell he wants anyway... __________________

i'm sorry to hear that your maryanne chose mcdreamy. people are complicated in general.
since coming out of a long term relationship, i realised how complicated it is to date again. the roads have been bumpy here as well. __________________

has anyone read Conversations with Friends? its written by the same person as the one who wrote Normal People
Its interesting how tv and movies only capture whats going on outside a person, it depends on a lot, ie a director, and the performance of the actor, but people are very good at hiding their emotions, or show one emotion but mean something else on the inside whereas a book tells exactly whats going on On Conversations with Friends, im fairly sure an older Connell could pull off Nick, but i dont know who would play Frances (aka the main character of Conversations with Friends)? __________________

i haven't read it.
hmm yeah i agree. it is harder to portray the inside of a character. when it comes to tv/movie adaptation, the art of storytelling and the writing are so important. __________________

they can cast the guy who played connell as nick, give it 5 years and he should be not young nor old to play nick as described in the book. and nick is an actor, so connell from normal people fits the description of nick however, im not sure who would play frances (the main character), bobbi or melissa though frances is going to be very hard to cast because shes meant to be gay, but 'changes teams' , and bobbi whos gay, but is better looking than frances. oh well __________________

i personally miss Ireland terribly but yeah showing too much of landscapes won't make good tv.
we'll see how it goes with the adaptation. __________________
