I've just seen the season 3 opener! I LOOOVED it! Fran & max were so adorable and C.C. & Niles made out!

C.C.: Maxwell. Fanny Nine.

They didn't reveal C.C.'s name until the finale. I won't say how everyone found out, since some viewers don't know the ending.

Caradeangel- we've almost filled up the first thread.....I guess we do "share your addiction."

I know. And at first I thought I was the only living creature crazy enough to still watch "The Nanny"

Not at all! I still love watching the episodes. I look forward to them every week day.
If they ever stop showing it, at least it will be out on DVD!

I'm not so sure about the DVD release. I haven't heard anything about it since April. No release date, no new info, nothing.

But as long as they still showing re-runs, everything is fine

Actually... I just checked again and that is what I found on TV Shows on DVD

Nanny, The - No Nanny in August (5/23/2004)

In April we reported that The Nanny would be coming in August. Last week we checked up with Columbia TriStar and was told that the release has been pulled from the schedule due to marketing reasons. No new date is known. This is one of the reasons why we include the disclaimer that the date may change when we receive early information like this.
What exactly does "marketing reasons" mean? Are they afraid the DVD won't sell?
I want my Nanny DVD

Hm... on Benjamin-Salisbury.com Benjamin posted on his message board that there will be a DVD...

Hello gang.

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that the Nanny reunion is in "the can"--as they say. It was a fun day of filming (about 12 hours). It was great to see the old gang, we even had many of the original crew members working on it. I think the shooting would have gone a lot faster, but we would often go off on tangents as a cast, thereby delaying things. I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but the setting goes as follows: Fran is hosting a dinner party and all the cast members come over to have dinner and reminisce.

I also snooped around to find out more about the DVD. Sony is working on one, and it looks like it will be released in November or December! For now, it will just be season one. I think the plan is to slowly roll out each season, one by one. I'm not sure what extra features they will have, but at least the first season will have a special behind the scenes making of the first year.

Other than that, all is well. I am hard at work on my anime show (see "Breaking News" for more details on that) and auditioning for tons of other projects. I'll keep on posting here, meanwhile send people on other Nanny boards here to read details on the reunion.

I'll post again soon!
That doesn't sound too bad. I had heard of the Nanny reunion thing before but I thought it was a hoax!!! A Nanny reunion??? H*ll yeah!
