My Own Worst Enemy #1 - Double the Christian, Double the fun!
My Own Worst Enemy Executive producer/creator Jason Smilovic teams up with executive producer/director David Semel on NBC's new drama "My Own Worst Enemy," a show that raises the question: who can you trust when you can't trust yourself? Starring Christian Slater ("Bobby") as both Henry Spivey and Edward Albright, "My Own Worst Enemy" explores the duality of a man who is literally pitted against himself.Premiers Monday Oct 13th 10/9c on NBC ABOUT Henry (Slater) is a middle-class efficiency expert living a humdrum life in the suburbs with his wife, Lily (Yara Martinez, "The Hitcher"), their two kids, a dog, and a minivan. Edward (Slater) is an operative who speaks 13 languages, runs a four-minute mile, and is trained to kill. Albright works at Janus Headquarters for Mavis Heller (Alfre Woodard, "Desperate Housewives"), a tough, extremely intelligent woman with a hidden compassionate side. Henry and Edward are polar opposites who share only one thing in common - the same body. When the carefully constructed wall between them breaks down, Henry and Edward are thrust into unfamiliar territory where each man is dangerously out of his element. Tom Grady (Mike O'Malley, "Yes, Dear") is Henry's best friend and co-worker with an alter ego named Raymond (O'Malley), a sadistic and violent secret agent. Dr. Norah Skinner (Saffron Burrows, "The Bank Job") is the smart and savvy psychologist who is in tune with the inner workings of both Edward and Henry. The series is produced by Universal Media Studios. Jason Smilovic ("Kidnapped") is the executive producer; David Semel (director of "American Dreams," and NBC's "Heroes" and "Life" pilots) is the director and executive producer. CAST Christian Slater as Edward Albright and Henry Spivey Alfre Woodard as Mavis Heller Mike O'Malley as Raymond Carter and Tom Grady Saffron Burrows as Norah Skinner Madchen Amick as Angie Spivey Bella Thorne as Ruthie Spivey Taylor Lautner as Jack Spivey __________________

I was going to be watching this show, plot or no plot, because I'm a huge Christian fan, but it sounds like it's going to be amazing, and what a great cast they put together. Hopefully it does well.

I hope you get a chance to watch it. It looks like it'll be interesting, and one can't go wrong with the cast it has.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this show. I probably wouldn't have even known about it, if Taylor Lautner wasn't in it.

I thought the pilot was amazing! Interesting and intense. I can't wait for next week. And a good healthy dose of Christian. I love this show! __________________

I fell asleep kind of early last night, but I have it on DVR and will try to watch it tonight.
Taylor Lautner was in Cheapter By The Dozen 2, and will be in the Twilight movie(s). |

I recorded this last night and can't wait to check it out.
I saw the ratings weren't too great, but hopefully they will improve. Quote:

Not shabby ratings considering it's lead in only had 9 million. It kept most of that crowd. Hopefully it will do well in the timeshift ratings (or whatever they're called, the ratings for DVRs and internet views etc) __________________

Hopefully more people will be tuning in, it would be a shame to lose this show. It's an orginal concept which not a lot of shows on tv can brag about these days.

Yeah, I did have it on DVR so of course my household doesn't count to the ratings. I really did like the whole concept of the show though, and the fact that "both" of them can work together. And him finding out about him sleeping with Henry's wife was hilarious.

I loved the ending where Henry was telling Edward the differance between driving somebody's car and driving somebody's wife. ...I love the interaction between the two...which I guess is kinda weird.
