It's a chilling dramatic series centering on Allison Dubois (Patricia Arquette), a young mother and law student who discovers that she can talk to the dead, see the future, and read people's thoughts- a gift that could help solve crimes.

It also stars Jake Weber and I'm looking foward to seeing him on this.

From Emmy Award-winning executive producer, creator and director Glenn Gordon Caron ("Moonlighting") comes "Medium," a chilling drama series inspired by the real-life story of research medium Allison Dubois. Patricia Arquette ("Stigmata," "Flirting with Disaster") stars as a young wife and mother who, since childhood, has been struggling to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people.

Allison Dubois (Arquette) is a strong-willed young mother of three, a devoted wife and law student who begins to suspect that she can talk to dead people, see the future in her dreams and read people's thoughts. Fearing for her mental health, she turns for support to her husband Joe (Jake Weber, "U-571"), an aerospace engineer, who slowly comes to believe that what his wife is telling him just might be true. The real challenge is convincing her boss, D.A. Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) -- and the other doubters in the criminal justice system -- that her psychic abilities can give them the upper hand when it comes to solving violent and horrifying crimes whose mysteries often reside with those who live beyond the grave.

Sofia Vassilieva and Maria Lark also star as Ariel and Bridget, the Dubois children. David Cubitt ("10.5") also recurs as Detective Lee Scanlon.

Caron is creator and executive producer. Kelsey Grammer ("Girlfriends"), Steve Stark and Oscar winner Ronald L. Schwary ("Ordinary People") are executive producers. "Medium" is produced by Picturemaker Productions, Inc. in association with Grammnet Productions and Paramount Network Television.

Yesterday on Lifetime was my favorite episode. When Ali is living a different life, married to someone else, no kids and is a lawyer...not using her abilities. Then she meets Joe and the chemistry is there, she starts to question her instincts, her life and then Joe again pops up --not to take her up on the offer of the money to be her expert mathmatician but instead because he fancy's Alison. She later runs to him and the next morning wakes up and states, " i have to get out of here, i have to explain to my husband" and Joe is looking at her like what the heck

only for her babies to come to their bedroom door and make Ali realize her life is back the way it should be!

Twice upon a time ^^ season two finale. I love that episode. they played lullaby, by the dixie chicks the whole episode

Patricia is thrilled that her sis is dropping by, this after brothers Richmond and David guested and directed, respectively. As she told the AP, "I'm really excited about this part they wrote for [Rosanna] because she is a very strong comedic and dramatic actress and this requires both elements." She also joked, "Of course, every time one of my siblings comes on set, the crew realizes that I have yet another [one] nicer than me." Rosanna's episode is scheduled to air April 7 on NBC. — Erin Fox

Well I think Alexis is more like a sister.. anyways this week's episode was awesome as always.. and I realized that Patricia is actually older than Rosanna right?? but she looks way younger than her little sister. They are all beautiful but I couldn't help but to feel that way..

I like this show but i don't really watch it it's not on at a good time. But i do love this show and Patricia is excellent in it.

I love this show! I used to watch it every week, but this past year or so my schedule has been really crazy with school and such, so I haven't been able to.

I really want to get the dvds though

Man Medium has been getting so awesome lately... Its like the only show that has kept me from going insane because of the strike. I have yet to watch the continued episode from like 2 weeks ago...
