I was wondering if anyone else remembers or likes/liked this show. ![]() __________________ Marshall: Okay, here's to the best friend I've ever had. I'll ever hope to have. | I think this show is also called An American in Canada, and it airs on PBS. I've seen a couple of episodes, but it's on so late at night that I always forget to watch it. It's kind of quirky humor. What's up with that guy in the coffee shop who gives the American guy advice? __________________ Cress, a Chanoey lover and Arrested Development fan. "Joey and Chandler! Joey and Chandler! That show airs in Canada under the name An American in Canada as well. They're two completely different shows. ![]() __________________ Marshall: Okay, here's to the best friend I've ever had. There's something about Canadian shows that causes them to use the name Canada in their names. ![]() __________________ Marshall: Okay, here's to the best friend I've ever had. Focusing on a group of producers played by Rick Mercer, Peter Keleghan, Dan Lett, and Leah Pinsent (who incidently is the daughter of Gordon Pinsent, the actor who played Fraser's father on Due South). An American in Canada is a look at what Canadians may appear like to Americans. The American is a stereotypical American...arrogant, dumb, etc. If you get a chance, take a look at either show. As for Due South I still watch repeats on Showcase. It still has me cracking up. ![]() __________________ Marshall: Okay, here's to the best friend I've ever had. I'll ever hope to have.
