WTF. IM SO PISSED OFF.

I watched the last two and what the hell. Like actually, what the hell. That new girl did not deserve to die and I hate hate hate that they brought Alice back just to freaking have her go off the rails and then try to kill Luther, like, what the hell was that crap? That was SO BAD. I dont understand why the hell they did that. At all. Its one thing to not want Alice on the show, or not want J/A together or whatever the heck the writers want but they literally DESTROYED her character and all of them in 2 episodes time. I genuinely dont understand. I really dont.

Cant say I will be watching if there is a season 6 now or future episodes. Im just super bitter.

Theres no way Alice could have survived that and even if she did, things are totally done with her and Luther and Luther was arrested like... how would they even continue that.

It did feel very unbalanced. I actually would have like more time with them chasing the serial killers. it just seemed to be on the back burner and lost it's impact as Luther was distracted by the Alicia chaos.

I love Alice as a character but this seemed to just hit the self destruct button with no real indication as to why. Yes Luther lied to her but I think she hated the fact he made her vulnerable and just seemed to spiral because of it

It would have made more sense imo for Alice to kill the son and then just leave instead of then killing Luther's partner. I feel like she wouldnt have done that.

People are saying she did all of this to frame herself and take the blame so Luther can be free, and I am sure thats what will happen to get him off the hook, but if she is still alive thats a total cop out (and they already did a fake death once before) and regardless I dont see how the relationship with her and Luther can be mended.

Exactly, it was so rushed. And it seems to be the writers are bitter that people love Alice so much and did this to destroy her coming back.

I realize the show started with Alice as a psycho and if they wanted to go that path then thats totally fine but then why build up L/A so much and then have them be shown in the flashbacks in a relationship? Like, they had to have known the fans would be pissed over this SL.

The issue is, she's a psychopath, regardless of whether or not people like the idea of a relationship between them, it cannot genuinely happen. She can't just stop being a psychopath.

I get that dude but they didnt have to do a relationship at all then. Because they just got the shippers hopes up. She didnt kill anyone since her parents, seemed to be growing and even regretful of some things just to suddenly go back to being "psycho" alice. They should have just kept her that way all along.

Regret when it comes to a psychopath is never genuine. They did keep her that way all along. Psychopaths fake it all the time.

I haven't enjoyed this series as much as the others. I feel like we just need 1 Christmas special to wrap up what happened to Luther and then just cancel this show.

They don't make it every year, they've said it wouldn't work if they did because the show is too dark.

i just finished season 5. i wonder how long until we find out what happens next. it took so many years between season 4-5. also Idris was infected and with tv/movie production just starting to resume, god knows when we'll see a season 6 or a movie (which they've been talking since 2011).

are they still planning on doing more? part of me hopes it doesnt happen but i think a bigger parts wants some sort of fix to season 5. But i doubt that will happen.
