Looks like he is not totally out yet. Another article indicates they are only actively recasting to see if they can save the show. Any firing hasn't happened yet... Monday is the day when the schedule comes out, so a decision will have to be made quickly... June 30th is when contracts run out, so it could conceivable that they put the final decision...off.
I don't how you can recast someone like Riggs. Bringing another actor into the same role... But I can see why they want to try. FOX really has nothing else... __________________

i dont want anyone else playing that role. just cancel the show. it wont be good without him

The whole point was the back & forth between him & Murtaugh. Take one out of the equation and the whole thing falls apart.
