La Femme Nikita

I've noticed that some people around the boards having avatars of this wonderful show. There used to be a thread here a long while ago, but I guess it got "lost." La Femme Nikita was a show that didn't get the true amount of respect that it deserved. When I first heard of Alias, I thought it was a La Femme Nikita rip-off. I still haven't watched Alias because of this. No one could forget the wonderul cast of characters on this show. Of course my all favorite character Michael Samuel. I used to beg my now ex-step father to let me stay up and watch the show but he said no. Of course my now ex-stepsister could go to an Aerosmith concert on a school night! Sorry, just a little personal beef about that. Thank goodness for reruns. I still haven't bought the show on DVD. I've tried to look for it in the stores around here but I can't find it. La Femme Nikita is one of the shows on DVD that I would pay almost anything for.

I used to watch this show, back when USA network had good programming... I thought Peta Wilson kicked major butt and I loved the chemistry of Nikita/Michael.
I don't think that you can really compare this show to Alias because the backstories of the two characters are completely different, IMO. Nikita just fell into the spy game, while Sydney's work seems more like a "it runs in the family" kind of thing. The DVDs of Nikita would be really cool to own...I just gotta work on getting something to play them on...

Michael and Nikita's relationship was a beautiful thing. All of the lies, sneaking around, love, and protecting one another. It was all done very well. Like I said I've never watched Alias. The idea just sounded to similar. I can't start watching now after so many seasons have already been done. I like to see a show from the begining to enjoy the journey that they go through more. Also the family thing reminds me of Nikita on the search for her father. Believing him to be the reason she was brought into section.

I use to like Birkoff too, I thought he was a cutie and I like the bond that him, Walter, and Nikita had.

My favorite eppy would probably be Love in season one when Michael and Nikita had to do a mission where they pretended they were married. The bedroom scene with them was hott.

Walter, Birkoff & Nikita had great chemestry together, sort of like a dysfunctional family.

I absolutly love this show. I first time I saw a episode is when they were doing a mini marathon of the first season a few years back on the USA Network. Each night they were showing an episode and the first one I ever saw was LOVE and I was hooked after that. Nikita and Michael are still my favortie televison couple of all time. I loved the relationship of Walter and Nikita and then Walter and birkoff.

I was so upset when they killed birkoff, but was still gald that the actor was around in the charactor jason, his twin brother.

I have the first season and will hopefully get the second one soon when I have money to get it. Till then I have most of all the episodes on tape ( though it was good that I got the first season because my earlier tapes are in pretty bad shape)

Hi there Jen, nice to see we have another show in come. Love the pics you put up.

I love this show. Though I haven't got the chance to see everyone yet. I sometimes miss the shows because they air it in the middle of night.

You know, for some strange reason I thought you might stop by this thread. I was sad for Birkoff and Walter. Especially after learning that Walter was the one who chose Birkoff to say in section and Jason to be let free. Birkoff was the best friend. Always willing to help the others when he could. As only he could, with the knowledge of computers he knew.

One of my fav. episode was when Nikita got abducted by that strange guy who wanted to marry her. Then Michael used his leave to find her and save her. That was a good episode. Of course most of the episodes were good.

Jen -Thanks for the wonderful pictures.

Lorency -What channel does it air on? I can't find it airing anywhere anymore. Sometimes it used to be on Oxygen channel but I never knew when it was going to come on. I live in Ohio, US by the way.

Blues- You know I had a feeling also that you were going to come and visit this thread . I was sad also that Birkoff was killed off the show though at towards the ending of the series I started to like Jason. Do you remember Birkoff having the hots for Nikita? If there was no Michael in the picture, I would actually consider those two getting together.

Here's some more pictures

love that picture with Michael looking at Nikita.

If Michael wasn't there, I think Birkoff and Nikita would have made a great couple. That shipper group did have some good episodes, though.

I made these.....
