A teenage boy is found wandering alone. He has no name. He has no past. As innocent as a newborn, he doesn't speak and he seems to look at the world as if for the first time. With no place else to take him, the police send him to juvenile hall where he's given the name Kyle. It's obvious that Kyle isn't like the other kids, but when it's discovered that he has no bellybutton, an administrator begins to realize just how different Kyle might be. He calls in Nicole Trager, a kind-hearted social worker, to help with the case. Sensing something special about Kyle, Nicole takes him home, much to the chagrin of her husband, teenage daughter and boisterous young son.

Settling into the Trager's busy household isn't easy. There is so much Kyle doesn't know, and yet he demonstrates amazing abilities no one can explain. His talents are just the tip of the mystery, and the questions are just starting to grow: Who is Kyle? Where did he come from? Who is the man watching him?

Every day, Kyle encounters something new... music, a pretty neighbor, a wild party, danger, lies, jealousy, humor, touch, trust, love. And each day, the Tragers think they are getting to know him. But the mystery surrounding Kyle is just beginning.

I watched this show tonight and thought it was so good. The guy in it is so adorable and the show really has a lot of heart. What did everyone else think?

The 'Pilot' is available on iTunes for free.

I checked my TiVo and it's repeating tonight at midnight. I'm going to watch and let you know if it's something I'll be following. Although, judging from the trailer I did see ... it looked worth watching.

I loved it! OMG! The pretty boy can act. I just spammed my LJ with an entry of one animation of him. Hehe. I really love the soundtrack/score of it too.

I think it'll repeat on ABC family Friday night as well.

I actually watched last night too (not much on in the summer months)

and was pleasantly surprised. I'll have to play it by ear and decide if I want to watch long term or not, but right now, I'm intriqued. The pilot not only gave us an intro to the family dynamics, and Kyle, but didn't try to pair him with an obvious adopted family sister relationship, and it teased us with the girl next door, and it also teased us with that Kryochek (sorry X-Files coming out) following him.

Kyle XY is now on my Season Pass on my TiVo. Fantastic start ... great Pilot. Can't wait to piece all the clues together and figure this all out. The actor who plays Kyle was terrific. Very engaging and knows just how to convey the right emotion. The entire production was great ... I could've lived without the snake in the beginning (because I am afraid of snakes) but, I understood it's purpose in the spectrum of the story.

Matt Dallas is terrific love the way he plays Kyle. The Pilot was very good. At first I was hesistant on tuning in but I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did

I love the scene at the dinner table where he starts repeating what the kid from the center said ... "Juice Me!" ... and OMG ... I could not stop laughing when he repeated what the daughter said on the phone.

My favorite scene, though, would be when he was watching the neighbor girl play the piano ... and he actually teared up.

That to me just spoke volumes.

I was laughing so hard when he said that. I really liked that scene where he was watching the girl with the piano too.

Who else got OC flashbacks when Kyle was carrying Lori home?

Something I just noticed that was rather subtle ... the news reported a girl was found, washed up ashore, with no recollection of how she got there. Does that mean Kyle isn't the only one?
