The Killpoint
Has anyone see the promos for this show? I think it's just a miniseries. When I first saw it, I thought it was a made for tv movie but it's a show. It has Donnie Wahlberg and John Leguizamo. It looks like it has the same theme of 24 in which each episode probably is 1 hour of the time in the show's storyline. However, it's about a bank heist and hostage situation.
A group of U.S. soldiers, who recently returned home from serving in Iraq, band together to pull off a major bank heist. "The Kill Point" (2007) It premieres tonight on Spike TV. |

Thanks for getting the thread started. I've seen the very eye-cathing promos, but am not sure if I'll watch.
I'll get this edited into our thread guide for you. __________________

I was going to watch but decided not to. I love John though and will probably catch a re-run before the new episode.

i watched last night and loved it.
probably half due to the fact that i'm basically in love with John Leguizamo, but otherwise it was really good. it's a different play on a normal bank heist which is what makes it more interesting. i can't wait til next week. __________________

I watched it tonight and absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!! My heart was racing............especially once the power was put out and that whole showdown began.
The old man volunteering his life. Loved all the twists and turns! I love Donnie Wahlberg and he didn't disappoint me. But, John L. was definitely the man of the hour. Wow! Stellar performance. Especially loved the scene where he comes out of the bank and strips down and you see all his war injuries and hear his speech and the effect it has on the bystanders. The very end of the ep had two more surprises which were awesome. I can't wait for the next episode. __________________

oh god, Bernard (was that the old guys name?) when he volunteered to be the one to be shot, i was so upset, lol, i would have much rather it been the other guy that thought he was going to be picked. i honestly don't think that John's character would have shot him though. even though he claims not to care, you can tell that he does.
i definitely wasn't expecting that twist at the end. and can i just mention how much i don't like Tobin Bell. i didn't like him in the SAW movies and don't like him in this either. in fact i think it's pretty funny that he and Donnie Wahlberg are in this together. __________________

I agree...........you can definitely tell John cares.
I didn't want the old guy to be shot either..............that was so intense and just awesome. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Tobin just seemed like weird casting for this role. And yep, I had to laugh when I saw Tobin/Donnie together. __________________

anybody still watching this?
the finale is on Sunday night. it looks like it is going to be awesome. i can't remember his name at the moment but the one guy with the beard that is in Wolf's unit is SUCH a jerk, i can't stand him, and it looks like he is the main source of problems for them next week. *sigh* i still love John Leguizamo. :-) __________________

There is a marathon tomorrow of all the episodes I believe. So I should be able to finally see this show. Just in time for the season finale.

The guy from "Roswell" is quite the creepy in this series. It seems as if it's understandable that he seems so callous but I don't know.
John never cease to amaze me. I am probably the only one but I have enjoyed the Mr.Pig/Ashley story. He seemed to had really opened up to fall for Ashley and Ashley I personally thought couldn't pull the triger because she too has become infatuated by Mr.Pig in that effed up way. |

Last night was the last episode. During the marathon, the episodes were edited. I'm guessing because they were during the day and not during primetime. Only one of the robbers got away.
