| Jonny Zero ![]() Re: to the "Pilot" episode. I really enjoyed this show. I didn't think I would, it didn't seem like a show I would get into. It reminds me of "Angel" in that a man seeking redemption. With Jonny being an ex-con who in turn is helping those in need. His sidekick is wacky/hilarious, and is named Random. And the female on the show, was a stripper/dancer, and is only 17. And that's what I like about the show, the odd pairing of the three people, seeking redemption, and just not the gmalmorous side of life. Random's living quarters are horrendous, Velvet ran away from home and became a stripper/dancer. And Jonny was convicted, released, and had a child. So, the characters have all these flaws tied to them, which end up working together. Although, the first episode sets up Velvet's storyline, seeing as though it's center stage. But, also you have Jonny just released, and now being targeted by the FBI and the old gang he used to be a part of. This constant decision where he will do what he used to do, or go undercover to get his old bosses arrested. But, so far he chooses to ignore both, and try to just help people he sees in need. The shows setting is New York City showing that it's fast-paced, but also showing the urban city areas. As well as a goth club, where they all stood out. And then theres the ridiculous job where Random and Jonny work, and that's at a seafood restaurant. And seeing Jonny in a squid costume and mopping the floor was weird, because this tough as nails ex-con, being thrown into the workforce with the rest of em. He had to put his dignity on hold, since he's on parole. The show's "Pilot" was a good jumping off point, but the next few episodes will probably be a better example of how the show will run. __________________ Marilyn’s really a Joan, | |||

Yeah, I liked the "Pilot". The other three episodes is a different story. But, I have a feeling I will like them as well. I like the pacing, tone, movement of the show. Plus, I don't want to see another FOX show on Friday get canned. __________________ Marilyn’s really a Joan,

| Hi I'm jumping in here. I watched the pilot and its a good show. Franky G, (Jonny Zero) fits the role remarkably and he is FINE to look at. The sidekick is cool in a funny way he balances out Jonny. I hope this show survives. This is my favorite new show. | |||

But I had every intention of watching because it was a John Wells production and he does Third Watch so well. Interesting how the site that the info was gathered from at the top didn't even mention Third Watch. __________________ Booth: Knock ‘em dead.

Back-to-back repeats of "That '70s Show" will fill the show's Friday, 9:00/8:00c slot for the next two weeks ("Time Is On My Side" and "Let's Spend the Night Together" on March 11; "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want" on March 18), while FOX's previously announced coverage of the "36th Annual NAACP Image Awards" will take over on March 25. Through its eight airings this season, "Zero" has averaged a relatively invisible 3.64 million viewers, holding 81% of lead-in "The Bernie Mac Show's" audience (4.50 million) on average. Among all FOX series, only clipfest "Totally Outrageous Behavior" (3.66 million) and "The Complex: Malibu" (2.50 million) have fared worse this season for the network. With only eight of the 13 produced episodes aired, the decision to bench the series leaves five installments on the shelf. R. Scott Gemmill, Mimi Leder, John Wells and Llewellyn Wells are the executive producers of the series, which comes from Warner Bros. Television in association with John Wells Productions. __________________ Booth: Knock ‘em dead.
