Peter Coyote - Supervisory Agent Virgil "Web" Webster
Katie Finneran - Special Agent Melody Sim
Nelsan Ellis - Carter Howard

I'm excited since I love Tim Minear's work on Wonderfalls and Buffy. If there's already a thread for this you can close it.

I'm excited too! I'm hoping The Inside will keep me entertained during the summer. (I wish summer had better programming.)

There are actually a lot of shows out during the summer but there's isn't a lot that interest me. The insider is one of the few that I plan on watching.

The Futon Critic has the list of summer shows.

And wow. Katie is a redhead now?

Seems so. I do like her as a blonde a little more.

It sounds very good. I have seen the previews. But given that this is Fox, they will cancel it just as its getting good.

I know. I'll try not to get emotionally invested in it

From Entertainment Weekly

Quote:
STARRING Rachel Nichols, Peter Coyote, Jay Harrington

WHAT IT'S ABOUT The FBI's Los Angeles Violent Crimes Unit has a new recruit (Nichols). The boss (Coyote) wants to exploit her past — a childhood abduction that allows her to get inside the minds of both criminals and victims. The agency's conscience (Harrington) wants to protect her from that heartless boss — and possibly her never-caught kidnapper.

WHAT TO EXPECT A character drama disguised as a procedural. ''I don't know anything about law. I don't know anything about order. I can, however, make up s---,'' explains cocreator Tim Minear (Angel, Firefly, Wonderfalls). Brought on board after Fox ditched a pilot that had Nichols working undercover in a high school, Minear introduced the kidnapping backstory, a new supporting cast, and kinky plots like one about a killer who targets high-powered women into S&M. Says Nichols, ''We went from 21 Jump Street to Silence of the Lambs.''

WHY WE'RE OPTIMISTIC Fox wants scary, and Minear isn't afraid to give them ''the feel-good dead-baby episode of the season.''

I am interested in this show. Unfortuately Fox cancels these shows just as they are getting good which is annoying. I liked Wonderfalls. I bought a DVD collectiong of all of the episdoes of the show including the 9 that were never aired.

I love Wonderfalls too. Just try not to get too attached to it in case it does get cancelled. That's what I'm going to do.

I had been watching for a thread for this show, and didn't think one existed... And of course after I started one, I found you all here!

It looks really good... I'm a little nervous to get 'attached' to a FOX show ('cause I'm sure many of us knows how that can be a little dangerous sometimes *coughcancellationcough*

Anyone else setting their Tivo's or VCR's for this one?

I plan on watching for sure...

It seems like it'll be a mix of Silence of the Lambs, Profiler and CSI...

I can't wait...

Astra and Chrissy

It's tonight I excited but in a detached manner. Like you all said it's Fox and you got to prepare yourself.

I'm going to VCR it since I need to study but I'll probably end up watching it. I've been seeing quite a few promos on my Canadian channel.

Hi Kismet! So right about FOX.... I know folks who loved Dark Angel and Firefly and John Doe and all they got for it was a FOX dagger in the back...

I refused to watch anything on that network for a YEAR! as my little mini boycott...

I started watching 'House' so hopefully they won't cancel that... I try not to get too attached to shows on FOX anymore...
