Someone mentioned my beloved William Holden episode [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] I love when he decides to get his own back and props himself up against the back of her booth and just stares at her [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

I also loved Lucy doing the mirror scene with Harpo Marx [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

That is probably my favorite ILL moment ever. [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

Yeah that episode with William Holden is hilarious [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Because he decides that he is going to do the same thing that Lucy was doing by staring [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Then Lucy gets all nervous. I like the part where she is trying to eat the spaghetti and then Ethel needs to cut it with scissors [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

The episode with Harpo is great I love the mirror scene pure genius [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I liked that episode where she had the trophy stuck on her head. It wasn't very original, because Lucy gets stuck in everything, but the part where she wears a veil to disguise it was funny. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

Yeah and she's on the subway with Ethel and nobody is noticing her until Ethel says it out loud that nobody is seeing her. So then all the people start staring [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] And Ethel tells a man that is looking at Lucy "Haven't you ever seen a beekeeper before?" [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

Yesterday I saw the one where Ricky thinks that he is getting bald [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I love that episode.

Also I saw an ep of the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour it was the one where Maurice Chevalier guest stars [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Funny episode where Lucy ends up in a bullfight and she thinks the bull is harmless [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I love the episode where Ricky thinks he's getting bald. The entire scene with Lucy applying crap on Ricky's head.

A favorite ILL moment, for me, is in one of the Hollywood epis. When Lucy dances with that fake, mannequin-like, Ricky and gets offered a show or something. Ricky tells her that he, Little Ricky, and the Mertz's are going to be going back to New York - she wants to stay, y'know, it's her 'big break'. So, she's walking around the living room, thinking about all of that, and then goes to Little Ricky 'cause she hears him cry. Ricky comes into the living room, visibly upset about the whole thing, and sits in the chair where the fake Ricky was sitting - when Lucy comes back out, thinking that it's still the fake Ricky in the chair, she smacks him on the head. Ricky instantly jumps up and freaks out Lucy and she starts crying that she doesn't want to be apart from him and Little Ricky, and they kiss [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img] [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] ...

I always liked the European episodes...more so than the Hollywood ones. I think the best was the hunger strike in Paris episode--and Lucy and Ethel end up wearing potato sacks and animal feed bags as dresses. [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

Chef- yeah the Muster Plaster scene is hilarious! I just love it because Lucy thinks that Ricky won't want to do the treatment anymore but her idea backfires [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

Ms. Isabel- I love that moment because Lucy really gets scared when she thinks that the dummy is real [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

For me it's tough to choose from the Hollywood eps vs. the Europe eps. Because I like shows from both.

But the one when Lucy acts she's on a hunger strike has to be one of my fave eps because it's just pure comedy and the last scene of them wearing the potato sack dress and the hats (horse feeder bag and I forgot what was Ethel's, looked like a lamp shade) [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img] But in the end the designer copies the dresses and stuff [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

Another of my faves was when Ricky wasn't playing at the club. So Lucy rang up 50 times and booked out the entire place then kept showing up with Fred and Ethel in different costumes, and then leaving, disappointed, when they "found out" that Ricky wasn't playing!!! Genius!

You know, as much as I loved Lucy, I think my favourite character was really Ethel...her reactions to every situation were so adorable. I loved that episode where she and the crew visit her hometown and Ricky, Fred, and Lucy upstage her show and Ethel freaks out at the end. [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img]

I love that episode it's so hilarious [img]smilies/rotfl.gif[/img] It was pure comedy with Lucy, Ethel, and Fred dressing up in all those different costumes.

Chef- I like that episode where they go to Ethel's hometown and everyone thinks that Ethel is the one that is going to start in a movie and because a celebrity in her hometown.

I do agree that Ethel was also a big part on the show because she was just as funny as Lucy and I love her too [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] The friendship between those two characters are great!
