Yeah since I guess that bec book can able to help you to understand if you plan to go to college which that why high school choose that kind of book and other classical books..

What Steph said. In English class in the US, there are certain books across the board that they typically make you read.

^ Yeah even though, I'm grateful to my high school English teacher because in college, I notice similar teaching which that made sense or I would fail it bec English is my minor major..

There you go! English was always my favorite subject in school growing up. I'm a fan that we were exposed to all of these classics. i just prefer some over others.
