Is this fifth season, right? I'm sure that 6th would be last one..

Yes it's the 5th. And I'm guessing either 6/7 for the last season too. If Viola gets nominated for an Emmy, expect a S6 already.

Yeah I think they base the seasons more so on Viola's successes but she's so compelling to watch.

Watching a movie on TV called "The ReWrite", from 2014, stars Hugh Grant as a Hollywood screenwriter in a slump and so he starts teaching writing at a college and low and behold, one of the students sitting in the class is Aja Naomi King! :)

Thanks! Plus I'm amazing that Viola have time for other project.. But I wouldn't be surprise if she nominated for an Emmy.. I mean, w/o her, the show wouldn't be still on air..

2014 movie with Hugh Grant? That's roughly the same time the show premiered on ABC.

ABC really made sure to only do 15 eps of the show so that Viola will have time to do movies. Otherwise, I don't think she'd say yes to the show if they were to do 22 eps. That's actually how you negotiate with high profile actors if you want them on your show.

^ Yeah, that's true..

pride to me means relief! As a member of the lgbtq community, i’ve grown up feeling scared for my emotional and physical safety in a world that sometimes threatens people who are gay. Now, when pride month comes around, i always feel a sense of relief and joy to celebrate how far we’ve come. I am especially proud and happy when i see small towns like the one i grew up in — niceville, florida, which is in the deep south — establish a pride parade. It’s really overwhelming to me now, and fills me with hope for the future.

Makes me wonder if someone caught her performance then and that's how Aja got HTGAWM role.

Thanks for the news!

Most likely. They do have the CV of the actor when they audition.

Very true!

Thanks for that! :)

fly me to the moon 06-30-2018 05:15 PM

Thanks for that.. I'm ready!

L i N d $ @ y 06-30-2018 11:44 PM

I'm ready too! :woot: I bet y'all Conrad's sides is about Coliver's wedding. Usually when they get their scripts, they only get the parts that they're in right? And then they all do a table read before shooting the episode?

As long they have drama for it.. I mean, they love drama..

L i N d $ @ y 07-01-2018 10:58 PM

And I love drama! Just not soapy drama but it is what it is for this show and I've already accepted that.
