the last episode was a bit of a 'filler' episode, for all intents and purposes: the first 10 episodes have been somewhat filler for Carrie, for her to finally leave frannie behind so she could go out into the field again

Steph, you're right. Dante is dead. The Russian guy killed him. So they really only have Simone now but she's escaped.

I was surprised at Carrie for actually realizing that her job and she herself is putting her daughter in danger. Tbh, the whole thing with Carrie having a baby was an LOL moment for me on the show because I just can't see Carrie doing this job and taking care of her daughter AND being there for her. This "solution" effectively leaves Frannie out of the equation and we can only see her whenever Carrie has the time (which isn't a lot). The writers really messed up on this one but okay. At least we don't have to worry about Frannie anymore.

Also things aren't going well for POTUS. I wonder if she'll resign or be impeached?

Carrie leaving her daughter was definitely the best decision for Frannie in the long run that's for sure.

I'm sure POTUS will be impeached in the next episode, I don't see her resigning at all.

for some reason it took me a very long time (when carrie climbed out of the window) to get into episode 11.

The only things that stuck with me was president keane being told to step down and the confrontation between yevgeny and carrie

I've finally seen the newest ep.

So did Simone believe Carrie and betrayed Russia? That was fast even though Carrie was telling her the truth.

I was bored watching this ep until those last few minutes with the riot. Did I hear it right that POTUS stepped down? Also, surprise, Dar is back and is working with that other government official. This administration is really messed up.

its interesting because the show doesnt do too well in its talky sections, whereas the other Showtime show Billions (a show which coincidentally has Damian Lewis as its lead), a show with no action nor is the dialogue all that accessible. But for some reason the dialogue is intriguing, and the remarkable power plays, it makes me miss Damian Lewis
