LOL, we're still conservative over here in Asia. The nudity & sex scenes on GOT are cut so it looks like we're watching the wholesome edited version of the show.

Yeah, I heard about that and I think same thing in Mexico too since the last time I stay over there for vacation, they repeated some episodes and I was like umm, I know something missing..

Yep, we're backwards here. Even straight people kissing isn't allowed on primetime when I was a kid (it has drastically changed now).

That's why I download HBO shows even if we get the shows here same time as U.S. release. 90% of the time, these shows are heavily edited when they air here. Plus it's really obvious how it's cut which is so laughable. But when it comes to movies, all the nudity and sex are allowed.

Yeah, I remember that time and no cussing even tho I felt weird that Freeform allowed cussed word and all that since it's family channel..

I've never understood that. I remember the first time I realized that that was happening years ago with a music video by Radiohead, and it was a cartoon.

The Canadian version cut the self mutilation violence where a character literally chops off their arms in the video, and left in the bare breasted mermaids and the US version did the opposite, they thought the nudity was more offensive!

This is kind of boring business news but this guy basically made HBO what it is. It also feeds into the rumor that the new owners are looking more for quantity as opposed to just quality like they are known for.
