the newsroom's continual political agenda is starting to annoy me. i mean, the lead character keeps saying he's a registered republican, but there isn't anything conservative about his viewpoints. not-a-one. he keeps having to clarify this every episode though. i'm like, YOU ARE? outside of this, the relationships are what keep drawing me in, so.
also, girls being nominated over treme for several emmy's is the laugh of the day. like? it's not even shocking, just annoying, especially for how mad men's worst season ever got wanked over. yep! |

I actually really enjoyed the last episode of Newsroom, it's good that they are adding depth to the characters, and about him being registered as republican, he even says that is irrelevant for a ton of reasons (I can't remember why right now)

it's relevant only in the way that his character contradicts every single thing being a republican stands for. if he wanted irrelevancy, he'd be a registered independent w/ no party affiliation. lbr.

I'm loving enlightened I'm up to s1e5. But like, s1e4 is such a good episode for Levi/Amy - Omg. It was so heartbreaking.
