On Netflix one of Lena Dunham's films, Tiny Furniture:
Quote:
When twenty-something film theory major Aura (Lena Dunham) returns home after college to live with her artist mother in TriBeCa, she confronts a long list of personal and professional failures and wonders whether her dismal past will become her future. It's an early midlife crisis for sure, but there's hope on the horizon if Aura can figure out who she is and what she's really meant to do. Dunham also wrote and directed this wry comedy.
She Wrote/Directed/Starred in it.

I admit I have questionable taste in tv. I watch some fine tv and I also watch a lot of crap tv. If I had to percentage on it I'd say... Probably a solid 30% is quality tv while the remaining 70% is trashy reality tv (mostly on bravo) and CW teen soaps I can't look away from no matter how awful and soulless they wrote their characters.

I re-watched Girls basically majorly Sunday, and the final three episodes today. I miss this show. Having some serious withdrawals. I wanted to love Veep. On some level I did, but I felt towards the end, the show was having trouble pulling me in to invest time to care for these characters. But I might re-watch. I want to check out Enlightened and actually watch all of Bored to Death. Thank God for HBO Go!

I watch the newsroom. I have to admit it is one of my favorite shows on HBO right now (and I happen to love True Blood)
Everything about it is perfection

^i agree. ep two was nearly flawless! the only thing that really takes a minute or two to digest is the long winded dialogue scenes. after 20 minutes or so, just like the pilot, everything essentially picked up and flew towards the end. and it's just so damn funny!
