I think June is using The Commander to get something out of it in the future.. at least that's her intention..
Why is Nick leaving the Commander's? and how can he tell that guy to protect the handmaid.. Isn't that suspicious for that guy?

That ep wasn't as depressing but it was sad. I hate that Nick slept with his 15 year old wife but June practically told him to. I don't understand but I'm still sad because it's the circumstance he's in. Also, I need clarification as to why Nick wants to be relocated?

I felt for Serena as she was shot during a rally. But then fast forward to present day and the Commander kills the guy's wife that shot Serena. Some really great acting by Yvonne in this ep.

Also I was laughing a bit in the early part of this ep at the June & Nick exchange. UGH. What I would give to have them have a happy life with their baby. And Serena being good to June made me laugh because we all know why she's doing this. But then when she got her bitch mode back on later in the ep, it looks to be back to "normal" between them again but I got mad at Serena again because she can't seem to not be nice to June. Not sure what June is doing with the Commander but she has a plan up her sleeve and she'll most likely use that for whatever plan she has.

I enjoyed this episode more than the last. It had a bit more happiness and humor in parts.

June standing up to Serena and Serena just taking it was different. Sometimes it feels like Serena could have potentially been really nice to June had June cooperated with her in the beginning? IDK, maybe not. I mean, we see glimpses of good in Serena… like when she asked about the baby inside of June. It’s obvious she wishes she could give birth. Not sure why June was being so nice to her but I guess she’s trying to play along. And I think June realizes that playing along will get her much further than being disobedient. Or maybe it was to make her feel happiness towards to the baby with the intention to rip it all away from her? Of course Serena goes back to being bitchzilla by forcing her back to her room. Every little thing sets this woman off!

I feel like Junes doing a similar thing with the commander. Pretending to be upset about their lack of conversation even though she isn’t at all. It was nice of him to bring her the photograph of Hannah at least. But it feels like a ploy just to get back into her pants. I don’t buy that June really misses him at all. Him touching her boob was so gross! And thankfully she got out of sleeping with him!

The flashbacks were so strange. Seeing Serena in pants with her hair down. Like, how are they both happier with the world as it is now? Other than them being in charge, she’s just forced to be a “wife” when she used to be this powerful woman. Like, wth. Seeing Serna get shot was a shock to me! But not surprising. Is that why she cant have children?

The Nick and June scene was so adorable! God, he loves her so much. Him saying he thinks about what the three of them could be! That was so precious. Then June says she thinks about it too… where does she think her husband and Hannah will fit into that equation though? Id be curious to know if shed immediately run back to Luke or if she would pick Nick over him now? NICK SAID HE LOVED HER AGSDSDSDFSDFDSF. Kick me in the gut! I loved that moment.

The scenes with Rita are amazing! I love that she sort of has a friend in the house. I enjoyed the humorous scenes at the beginning.

The new wife questioning if Nick was a 'gender traitor' was sad to see. I think that June realized that Nick was in danger if this new girl went to someone about the issue. June telling him he had to sleep with her was so sad. But she was right, he’s not the only one that has to sleep with someone he doesnt want to. Seems most of them in this world do. The scene with him and his bride…. gross. I didn’t even want to watch it, it was torturous. Also, I too dont get why Nick wants to be reassigned? Doesnt he want to be able to be around June? Is it because he had to sleep with his new wife and doesn't want June to see it? Or maybe he realizes how attached hes gotten to June and the baby and wants to try to move on from that? And why would he tell the other dude to protect the handmaid? That seems super risky. But the guy said okay? Will he hold true or will he rat out Nick? Did he even survive the bombing?

Speaking of, OMG THAT ENDING. That was June’s friend right? The new “ofglen” that got her tongue ripped out? Wow, what a badass blowing them all up. I hope the commander is dead, I think it would breathe some new life into the show. But I just cant see that happening. I'm sure he will survive.
