I did in season 1 and absolutely loved it. I did 1 a day (sometimes 2) and it was awesome. I felt more invested in the storyline. But I prefer to binge personally.

Millie maybe wait til next week, then binge the first five. Then wait til the finale and then you can binge the 2nd set of five?

I haven't watched the newest ep yet but will do when I get home from work later.

My friend binge-d S1, she loved it, but she can't bring herself to watch S2 anymore. I don't know if it's because she binge-d the show but for me, binge-ing always makes me appreciate the show more. Personally I can't binge this show, it's too depressing.

I've finally seen the newest ep.

This ep was really depressing especially that last few minutes. I think they broke June. Did she just give up? How sick was it when Auntl Lydia showed June the dead body of Omar? And now his wife is a handmaid. Aunt Lydia telling June that: "June did this. Not Offred. Offred was kidnapped." I did an audible groan. I hate Aunt Lydia so much but Ann Dowd is great and I'm enjoying so much of the character as well. Also, I was wondering why Aunt Lydia was at the Waterfords? Was it to keep an eye on June since she's being very difficult? I hate that June is back wearing that red handmaids robe. Just when she burned that robe a few eps ago and it was such a symbolic thing for her as well. She also got her ear chip back.

Serena is super horrible in this ep. The Commander was more understanding, swaying her to let June stay. I cringe-d when she went inside June's room to cuddle her pregnant belly. UGH.

I have to admit, after watching the ep I was just staring at a wall. I actually had to watch funny stuff on YT so I can move on.

wow intense episode

Serena and Aunt Lydia are horrible people, so selfish haha but played well by Ann Dowd and Yvonne Strahovski!
Elisabeth Moss is brilliant as well!

I think Aunt Lydia was there because of Offred/June's behaviour Lindsay

Magnificent episode!

So mayday is not really something she can get help from anymore? did I get that right?

This show is just SO good. Wow, I just love everything about it. .

This episode was depressing. I do not want to see June home with the stupid Waterford’s. June seeing the disgusting outfit again. So the Waterfords want to pretend that June was “kidnapped” and it allows them to keep her in their house?

Martha watching June wash her… lady parts…. was a bit weird. What the heck was that about. Martha is such a great character. Like, she sucks but she’s also really fun to watch and the actress is phenomenal in the role. It was interesting when she sort of stood up to Serena and took the cigarette from her. It was so sad to see the man that helped June be hung up on the wall. And now the wife has to be a handmaid and the son was taken away from her? That is so sad.

I don’t really blame Rita for being scared to do anything about the letters, especially when June was caught.

June throwing up the drink she made was pretty hilarious. Also when she said she felt the baby kick for the first time. When she said she was having a great time… . I also loved when she repeated Serena’s line back to her about her child being safe. Serves her right. I love that June is getting her rebellion in where she can. I would be doing the same damn thing if I had to live like that.

WHEN JUNE SAW NICK IN THE KITCHEN SGASGSDGDSDS. That was so cute. They are just so cute. And June is so in love with him. I love that at the very least she has him around as a sort of emotional comfort. So clearly Nick is still working for them and they don’t suspect him. If they ever kill Nick off I am going to be so annoyed. Seeing Nick’s face when June had to make that speech at the end was so heartbreakong. And the ending scene when she barely spoke to him... I wonder if she holds resentment for not being able to actually get her out or if she is just trying to protect them both by not talking to him.

At first I actually felt sort of bad for Luke’s wife in the flashbacks during the episode, but then she went all nuts on June. June is right that sometimes people grow apart and clearly Luke made his choice and broke things off with her, so he did the right thing. I believe that he truly loves June and that he was telling the truth when he said June didn’t “take” him. Still, it must have been hard for her to see Luke with a new wife and baby.

I didn’t understand why June’s comment about giving away her gifts upset Serena. What did that comment even mean? Was she just mad that she mentioned her previous life and child or something? IDK. I love that June gets to Serena so much. Damn bitch deserves it. Slapping Rita? Serena at the end smoking with her hair down was damn creepy. Her holding June’s stomach saying “mama loves you” would SO DAMN INFURIATING. Poor June. Serena and the commander need to die by the series end and June better get to keep her children!

Is she going to be a “good” little handmaid now and follow the rules? At that point I don’t know what else she could do but pretend to go along with it. I wonder how long that will last.

OMG AT THE PROMO. NICK IS GETTING MARRIED OFF. I wanna cry. June’s face. Nick’s face. WHYYYYYY. This show hurts. But in a good way. lol

I'm thinking of doing that as well. A half and half sort of thing!

Btw, did Serena slap Rita since she doesn't want to hurt June because of the baby? Ugh, I hate her so much.

It kinda looks like it or maybe June is lying low for now until mayday re-groups again?

I think for now she'll keep her head down. But I hope she didn't give up all hope. Because once she has the baby, she'll be sent off to another couple. So she still has time to re-group before she gives birth. I'm hoping she gets out before she gives birth. Serena would have her be executed if she had it her way, I think. Though June's still fertile so they can't do that.

I think that Serena is desperate to believe that the baby is hers, but having trouble making herself believe it. It would suit her better to have June stay at the Red Center, out of sight and mind, and then have the baby handed to her when it's born. Any reminder of June or her pregnancy is unwelcome, as it contradicts the fantasy that the baby is really Serena's.

Another factor that may be troubling her is that the Handmaid system is based on the Biblical precedent of a wife claiming a baby fathered by her husband. Serena broke the rules. As Nick is the father, Serena could have trouble convincing herself that God means for her to have this baby.

I think June is going to await her moment for now?
If you see the promo she definitely doesn't want the baby to be raised there so I assume the fight is still there within her.

I wonder if Serena ever questions Nick in those 90 days

I don't watch the promos so I didn't see. Does Serena know that Nick helped June escape? Or does she find out eventually?
