Yes new episode on Hulu tomorrow!

You guys are really making me want to watch Top of the Lake. I think I might start that next so I have something to watch in between episodes of Handmaid's.

I agree. The voiceover helps with this a lot.

Wonderful Cannot wait!

Hope you enjoy Top of the Lake too. It's a bit weird, but has some really great performances.

Top of the Lake was definitely deliberately artsy weird, which can be a plus or a minus depending how much you end up enjoying it. But I would recommend giving an ep or two a shot to see if the story and the way it’s told works for you.

New episode this week!

I really enjoyed #3! It was very intense!!
Likewise. I'm glad to see everyone here seems to have enjoyed the show so far. Though it would of course be nice to hear from people who didn't as well.

Ep3 was so intense. I paused it a few times as if that would make the dark parts any less disturbing, lol.

Yup, that and the fact they didn’t try to approach it as a fast-paced Hollywood blockbuster.

ETA:
I forgot, stumbled upon this old-ish (March 10) article on tumblr yesterday. It's Atwood talking about what originally inspired her to write the book and, as the title suggest, how she sees its relevance today.

Margaret Atwood on What ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Means in the Age of Trump

It didn't work for me I gave it a shot even though I did like Elisabeth's performance in it

I am curious to know if there are people who aren't enjoying it
To me it feels like a fresh show... something that isn't on TV at the moment

Thanks for sharing

Makes you curious right?!

Joseph Fiennes' role is fairly small.. I wonder if that will become bigger in the future eps!

Maybe he likes her better than his wife?

I'll let you guys know what I think of Top of the Lake once I start it.

If they follow the book we'll definitely see a lot more of the Commander.
