Did anyone like it I wonder?

airali_glo 08-08-2019 02:02 PM

I doubt it. Especially because it was so clearly random and even Penn, if I remember correctly, said he was like ???? when he had found out about it.

It would have looked better to not knowing who GG was at all. I don't think the writers ever wrote anything having the identity in mind - be like ok but since X is GG, we can't write the character in this situation or doing certain things - so what was the point? Keeping it a mistery wouldn't have be that bad, since the audience didn't buy it anyway, eventually.

Exactly! This wasn’t pll, nobody really wanted to know or cared who gg was.

True. I don't think I would have minded never knowing who GG was.

For me GG is Dorota, not Dan, sorry GG writers

Aww I can't think Dorota as GG

I didn't care for the identity of GG at all, I cared for CB the most  and would love a S2 ending more, like everbody is GG. Or like seeing Kristen from away, with the xoxo voiceover  But also Dan being GG makes perfect sense to me in many ways too, most of all because he is the worst and it was official he was. Sorry not sorry  :D

Rme. So much for civility. It made 0 sense that he was, but anyways....not like the narrative tried to frame it in a negative way despite the problematic aspects of that reveal.

I've been binge watching Gossip Girl.

I'm currently on S5. This is where I'm at with my character thoughts:

- I still don't like Chuck Bass
- I find Nate's character to be boring
- I was so glad when Jenny left and moved back with her mother, she was super annoying
- I'm not at all into the Dan/Blair relationship, but I did enjoy their unusual friendship when it started.
- I love Lilly and Rufus, but I'm so over their disagreements
- I absolutely love Dorota
- I'm still hoping that Serena and Dan will get back together

I love Chuck Bass
I think Nate can be a bit boring.
Jenny was terrible.
I don't like D/B.
I love Lilly and Rufus as well.
Dorota
No Serena/Dan :nope:

:D :high_five:

I agree Dan as Gg made no sense and I refuse to believe it. I agree Gg wasent important. I liked chuck and Blair but after the hotel they never recovered. I like her with Dan. I did like Ds in the early years and was okay with them getting together. I liked Nate he was this loveable idiot, I hate his only storyline in the later years was pool. I liked Jenny in spite some of her behavior in s3 but I felt she was going through a lot.
My least favorite characters were Vanessa and Chuck from 3.17
