Different teams

ds44 08-02-2019 08:51 AM

Nah I was all about DS. CB can stay in their weird bubble. Only team I am against is DB/NS.

Elle 08-02-2019 08:55 AM

D/B was the worst

I read all the books except the prequel and I liked them better than the show  except for Nate, the show one is better.

CB happen in the books too, in the last one, but it's just because the author decided to write them after seeing them in the show. They don't last long, though.

Awesome, I'm going to have to put them on my reading list :)

They're a nice read :) interesting also because of the different take on some characters (Chuck's mother is alive and well, Blair has a bigger brother, Serena's parents are together, etc.) and even the way GG is basically non existent in the teens life. There are "spotted" and even GG emails replies, but you could skip those pages and you'd be fine anyway

I watched the trailer and I was like...no  I admit that I watched only Twelve with him (and it was great).

I read them all the books including the Jenny spin off with the exception of the last one there a bit shallow and have product placement for monolos and other brands but there fun to read

I have to agree and yes some say it was abusive but I preferred C/B

Elle 08-03-2019 06:11 PM

He's still adorable

lessismore 08-04-2019 03:08 PM

Kristen welcome dear

He IS skinny, right? Tho I am not interested in his new show, I might check some scenes with him at least, because I missed him on my screens ;)

Same things:

Missing them :hug::love:

Yeah, GG is going to really have to push the envelope, tv has really changed in the past decade.

olicity4eva 08-04-2019 11:59 PM

Thanks for that.

GG is going to have to stop pretending NYC is so white and have more POCs on it. It had a severe lack of diversity in the original.

I totally agree with this. I mean they included later on, but diversity with the main characters would have meant a lot. Probably there would be LGBT too.

I also agree with this NY is not like that at all.

They need more LGBTQ characters as well as hispanics, blacks, and asians. The first three make up a large portion of the city.

lessismore 08-05-2019 03:02 PM

One of the things I hated is how they treated Eric's SL. I think it could be more core for Serena too. They always wrote very serious SLs then dropped it like a potato all of a sudden, or never treated the way it should have. I really hated that.

GG premiered in 2007. While it doesn't seem that long ago, I think it was still more a bit taboo with gay story lines for characters and whatnot. I figure it would be much more diverse in a reboot.

It did yes and I agree it has been mentioned there is a reboot.

Elle 08-05-2019 06:05 PM

I'm looking forward to the reboot
