In GG no one was an angel imo.

One thing I really don't get, Blair was horrible to him too even in his best times and here we always defended Dan but still we got hate.

That’s fine but I feel like dan’s flaws are inflated and Nate’s minimized in order to justify shipping then. I loved NS as friends. actually Dan/Serena/Jenny/Nate are my favs

I did enjoy the episodes when Lily and Rufus first got together and they had the big family meals and gatherings

Those were funny. Ha that was back when I cracked shippped chuck/dan. I am weird I only dislike chuck cause of Blair

I am glad he had some sort of parental figure but lily was an awkward choice cause she was so bad to her own children. It would have made more sense to have him have Rufus as a sort of adopted parent.

I enjoyed Chuck and Dan so very much. One of the reasons that I hated Dair arc. They yanked a beautiful friendship yet again.

Dan was better with Chuck imo hehe

I didn’t enjoy dair because of my string negativity towards her. Plus CD never got off the ground truly. Dan was great with everyone but bv.

Yeah, I always kind of thought Lily was trying to make up for the fact that she hadn't been a good mother and was trying to take Chuck in as well as improve for Serena and Eric. Even though I feel like Lily didn't really have that connection with Dan and Jenny.

you mean DB?

well for me besides everything else Dan was a boring character tbh, his treesome was even boring, and with Chuck he was fun. with Blair nope, he was worse... I always liked CD's scenes, because of Chuck none the less but still. And S5 could have been better if they'd stayed on CD arc not the yucky DB arc imo.

I guess it was hard for me to buy that because she was still blaming Serena and labelling her as a bad child instead of having any self awareness.
Anyways, despite fandom opinion, the writers clearly had a soft spot for Adan as a character and ds despite going off the grid for a bit there.

Nope you remember wrong but ofc you would. As a non-Dan fan I even hated the way B acted towards him and always said it. For me they were both in their worse selves during DB arc. Anyways...
