I totally agree with all of those! You have good favorites!

And honestly, I think the Academy is getting it. In a medium like television, it just isn't possible to get everything nominated that deserves it. There are too many shows and too many quality shows out there. Also this year they did the voting process differently and went by popular vote which they hadn't done before.

Everyone is always going to be mad that their favorite show was snubbed, because everyone believes his or her favorite is also the best usually. I don't think any of the shows or actors are particularly undeserving at all - there are just several pointed ones left out as always.

^ I'll be honest, I'm majorly disappointed that Desperate Housewives has there back turned to all Awards venues, for the major categories. But, the list gave me more favorites then year's past.

But come on, Family Guy for Best Comedy. And Sarah Silverman for her Comedy Central show. Come on!

I don't watch either, [since I can't stand either ], and ITA. Those nominations are utterly ridiculous.

I don't watch them either but I think Family Guy is hysterical and a lot of people really love it and think it's great so I get that. I've never seen or heard anything about Sarah Silverman so I have no clue about it.

I enjoy Family Guy, as much as the next guy, but... they took the slot from The Big Bang Theory, as far as I'm concerned.

I also [recently], finally got into TBBT, and love it. I think it's Emmy-worthy. At least Jim Parsons got recognized. He's brilliant as Sheldon.

The Emmy are always so predictable. I'm rooting for the unusual nominees like How I Met Your Mother, The Flight of the Conchords, Breaking Bad, Neil Patrick Harris, Jim Parsons, Simon Baker, Elisabeth Moss, Kristen Wiig, Sarah Silverman (not the best, but her acceptance speech would be funny), Aaron Paul, Jemaine Clement.

Love that show! Jim Parsons is SO deserving. I really want him to win.

Breaking Bad is underrated and needs more love.
I'll be happy with Aaron or Michael Emerson.

To be fair, Neil Patrick Harris has been nominated the past 3 years now. So he's not an unusual, but he's just that awesome that the predictability ennui doesn't touch him!

I think I'm just over the moon and the shake-up in the best comedy category! I'm wondering if 30 Rock will win it's 3rd consecutive year or if a sleep could creep in like How I Met Your Mother...hmmm....

It is, and especially Aaron Paul.

I've been saying since before the nominations were announced, Aaron Paul seriously needed to get nominated, and I'd definitely be ALL for him. But I'd also be for Michael Emerson and/or Terry O'Quinn for supporting actors, as well. I noticed Terry didn't get a nomination this time around [which actually surprises me] but Michael did. I won't hate it if Michael wins; he's amazing. But I'm still ALL for my Aaron Paul winning it this year. He was nothing short of spectacular this season.
