Thus another reason I don't put much stock in the Emmys any more, especially after 7 years of no noms for Lauren Graham!

The Emmys always get something or several things terribly wrong. I used to and usually hate them and don't respect them too much. But despite some snubs this year I think the lineup is pretty good!

i for one am mega pissed about the shield!!! it was a phenom show, with phenom actors! not that one needs validation, but still, i would have loved to see m'walton get nom'd! <3

As a die hard Buffy fan myself I learned never to expect a sci-fi show to ever get nominations. I know how you feel.

I've been hearing all over the place about The Shield being ignored. I've never watched but I know when it first debuted it was big with the Emmys. It's a shame this year because it was it's final season.

My only issues are that Justin Kirk from Weeds and Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother weren't nominated.

With television its so hard because there is SO much on tv that there will always always be snubs no matter what.

I thought because it was their final season, we might get a good shot, I'm so glad that Michael Rymer got nominated for Directing, but every year the cast gets ignored for their awesome work...

Well that's fabulous the show got a directing nod though! That's huge!

I've never seen it but I've heard many many great things and I'm sure I'd love it.

Same here. I was really hoping for a few nods in the major categories. This was the last chance to show some Emmy love and give some much deserved praise to BSG. This is one of the best drama show, with great writing and superb acting. I can't believe that even Bear McCreary didn't get a nomination for his amazing score for the show. Unfrakingbelievable!

On a happy side note, I'm thrilled for Jim Parsons. LOST. And all the Mad Men nods.
