I wish the latter would happen too..Jon rejects the throne seeing another battle is coming more important than any other trifle wars on a throne. That's Jon

An interview with Nik

He's not like his sister and brother, but he's been on the battlefield his whole life, and knows about people's weaknesses and loving someone unconditionally---because he loves his sister unconditionally. Plus, there are no other suitors. Well, that's not true... but he has to step up and take his father's place. Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, 'What am I doing?
As we predicted, Euron will step up to be a suitor for Cersei ...or Was he speaking about himself???

If we only had the Five Kings to choose from, which one would you all want to rule Westeros?

Right?

I think eventually Jon will believe him. He is his 'brother' and I think they'll all find out eventually that he's the 3-Eyed Raven now. They haven't seen Bran in a looooong time and is he presumed dead?

I guess it's also to show that his ambition to become King is his utmost priority over his family even if it means their life. I think if "the Lord of Light" commanded him to kill his wife, he'd do it too.

Actually I'm not sure how much he slipped? It seems vague. Does he mean that Euron & Cersei will ally together because that's already expected.

Robb obviously..No Grejoy or Joff, they're psychos. Renly had no right and he's kinda reckless which I didn't like in him. Stannis had every right to be the king but when this red priestess is not around. He had gone mad, doing dreadful things.

I meant others like Dany. Jon of course will believe his brother but what about every one else?? There should be something to convince them or they'll just consider it as fake claim.

And this is when I changed my mind about Stannis..At first, I supported his claim but when I saw how he could do such dreadful deeds..No thanks, We don't need him.

May be he meant Euron will propose to Cersei to marry her. Will they get married and dump Jaime??? We all expect they'll ally but what about marriage? I don't know actually.. Was he speaking about himself then?? No idea..

I liked the bit on J/B as he announced it's love not just mutual respect

Quote:
"It's built out of contempt, which has turned into real respect, and love -- not that they would ever use that word. I think they feel very strongly for each other.
but at the same he thinks they won't ever act on it .... I hope that's not true then why they started it from the beginning if they won't act on it?? Damn..

Mine would be Robb too. Although his nobility would get him killed. He's a lot like Ned although he's really the best candidate for me. Joffrey of course "legally" he has no claim but mostly because he's a psycho. Renly & Stannis were too absorbed in their rivalry of each other that I think they cancel each other out plus Stannis has weird magic on his side and follows Melisandre because of what the Lord of Light says (pretty crazy stuff). Balon isn't a strong leader, imo, and his family isn't stable.

They will definitely think it's a false claim since there's no evidence so I'm thinking Howland Reed or maybe he's too late to be introduced on the show now? Or maybe Bran gets a vision of how Dany finds out?

I lost all my faith on Stannis when he spawned that evil shadow with Melisandre.

Hmmm, that could be a possibility so they can form a strong alliance, I didn't even think that.

I also don't think that they'll act on it. Brienne has a lot of respect for Jaime (and vice-versa) and at this point, while it's very obvious that they care for each other, as long as Jaime has even a small chance of sympathy or feelings for Cersei, then he won't ever see Brienne in a romantic sense. Even in their last meeting, Jaime still talked about Cersei. But it's different now that Cersei is queen. I think we'll see the fallout of that relationship in S7.

Balon is crazy..I think he began to lose his mind once his own sons got killed and they tool the other. I agree the whole family are not stable and their life style doesn't suit in ruling an entire kingdom..They raid and usually are on sea, plundering..They can't be rulers to a kingdom

Quote:

I'd like to see more of The Reeds..but I don't think they'll do it either..Could Dany herself get into some of old gods visions or Bran let her wander inside one is it even possible? Till now, All we knew is that Jon is Rhegar's bastard and I'm sure he's not. Lyanna is a noble lady and won't go with a moment of passion and she did not get abducted too. They need to clarify this too. Another vision I hope

Quote:

I can't think of any thing except that.. In his infamous speech, Euron talked about marrying Dany as a kind of alliance so as it's impossible now, he'll turn to Cersei.

Well, I think it'll get cracked but not at the early beginning. I actually don't quite understand D&D on that point. Nik's interview showed he'll still get allied with Cersei as nothing happened ( The look Jaime gave Cersei ) and then they did 2 scenes ( The sword one, the goodbye plus Bronn's gossip ) to show us there is some thing else between the two. Why they would do that then if J/B won't act on these feelings?? A subplot that had no end!!! May be we'll see something on S8 after Jaime's solving his complicated matters with Cersei

What is it with kings in this world losing their minds? Can you imagine how wrong a Cersei-Euron alliance will be? They may have some armies but once they see Dany's army...LOL. I don't even know how they will both react. And once Euron finds out Theon & Yara are with Dany, he will definitely strike an alliance with Cersei.

I have no idea how Meera's story will go now other than the fact that at least she's still with Bran. There are some theories out there about her.

Yeah, by the reasons you have mentioned, I don't think Jon is a bastard either. Plus he's been living with a lie like that since he was born so it's anti-climactic if he was. He's a Targaryen and not a bastard with a very legitimate claim to the throne.

I think Jaime needs to be free of his emotions with Cersei to really take a good look at Brienne and tbh, I don't think Jaime is there yet. The only indication that I've seen from him that might stray away from Cersei is that look he gave her when she was crowned in the S6 finale. So I really hope that S7 is the season we see them both crumble.

They always go nuts, I know .. The biggest problem for Cersei/Euron is the dragons..Forget about anything else, it can be matched but dragons? how they gonna stop 3 dragons attacks..Very difficult

I read about her being Jon's sister but I disregarded it actually. Do you except Meera's doing more significant role other than helping Bran?

Exactly but how? Supposedly Rhaegar is married and by Westerosi laws, you can't marry more than one. So Rhaegar can't marry Lyanna.. I don't know about divorce in Westeros but this is the only way out.

I agree. Jaime still tends to Cersei's side and feels something for Brienne but not still strong enough to let him break his chains and flee away from Cersei. It's complicated, you know. In books, he already did that but sadly it won't happen in TV show but later

I kind of want Dany to hide her dragons from Cersei & Euron. I think the Dothraki & Unsullied can take down both Cersei & Euron's armies.

That Meera theory has to have more bearing to be true. I'll make it vague for now because even on the show, I don't think it's true. Plus I want the other theory to happen, if you understand what I mean.

I think it was mentioned here before that the Martells are flexible with polygamy so that would explain Rhaegar taking Lyanna as his wife but then that wouldn't sit well with Lyanna being a Stark. I hope they'll address this on the show. Bran needs to get a vision of the past again.

Yeah, in the books they're not in a good place anymore. That was because Jaime didn't want to be the King's Hand right after Cersei wanted him to since he refused it. And then she wrote to him about being in trial and that she needs his help and for him to be her champion but he burned the letter?

Outside of Dorne, Polygamy isn't really accepted anymore. Even with the Targaryans, I think the last one to have multiple wives was Maegor the Cruel which was way in the past. If Rhaegar hadn't been killed and King's Landing wasn't sacked, how did he expect people to react to him taking two wives?

Even in Dorne I don't think multiple *marriages* are a thing, but I could be wrong there.

The whole Rhaegar&Lyanna situation is still so mysterious, even with R+L = J being confirmed in the show. Lyanna is described as strong willed and stubborn, so to be a second wife something must have been really convincing to her. Hopefully next season will shed some more light.

Dany is so proud with her dragons, she'll put them at the front. I don't think D&D will make it that easy However, if you really thought about it, Dany has enough men and dragons to conquer Westeros easily. Cersei has Grejoys and Lannisters army only I think? but D&D won't make it that easy for Dany..May be some one will betray her? I don't think those Sand Snakes will hold long, they'll get killed that season I'm sure. I don't know how much now does Olenna hold the Reach army after her family all dead? The legal heirs are dead. I predict a conflict within the Reach

If this the case in Donre, so yeah that's will be the other acceptable solution.. And yeah I agree Lyanna won't like ever to be a second wife.. Perhaps, he convinced her to do so till he can get a divorce and to break her betroth with Robert

yeah! he burned it, he was so angry knowing she had cheated him with other men so he cut his relationship with her. Actually, If you had read the 4th book, you'll find how Jaime investigated on her betrayal and when he was sure, he ended it.. But here, Jaime still follows Cersei without any rational thinking and this's pissing me off

Yeah, we need some clarification as to why Jon has a legitimate claim to the throne. Another thing that makes him legitimate are the Kingsguards at ToJ.

I agree. It may look easy for Dany to defeat Cersei but she will face an obstacle, it won't be that easy for her. For me, I just want the Sand Snakes to die already. And yeah, Tyrells are dead with only Olenna alive.

I think it's D&D wanting to drag out the whole Jaime/Cersei relationship on the show and also because Nik & Lena are both amazing in their roles so even if I despise their relationship, I still want them around and interacting. But it will all crumble soon and I actually like the direction the show is taking with these two.

And she's not the heir then the banner men will divide now, I think. Cersei is evil and she'll do whatever she can to defeat Dany but what I'm thinking about is how she will fight a dragon? It needs an army of undead to defeat one

I'm a big fan of the Lannisters myself. I like their characterization, complex, fierce and stubborn. I have missed Tywin but he was taking the whole responsibilities of every thing, Now dead, Cersei ( as a Queen ) and Jaime ( as the Lord of Casterly Rock ) have to deal with the war incoming and with their brother Tyrion. I really really hope we can see a reunion of the trio

A new interview with Iain Glen

Quote:
I know a lot of people who watch you on Thrones are rooting for Ser Jorah to get the girl—any girl! Do you think they’ll be happy to see that Jack Taylor isn’t all about unrequited affection?
~~and Jorah ponders it too much, I think. Not that Jorah’s ever going to get it. Well, he might. Who knows?

Do you have any general words of optimism or hope for Jorah fans who are quite worried about that spreading stony rash on his arm?
In all honesty, no one is more worried than me. There’s a high death rate in Thrones, and I desperately don’t want to be part of that number. We’ll have to see what unfolds.

Meanwhile, poor Jorah would probably kill for that coat—he’s been stuck in pretty much the same costume since Season 1.
They found it for me, a costume that just felt right. I don’t know. It just felt like it belonged and belonged to him.

But every year it gets dirtier and dingier and more threadbare. I’m worried that by the end, Jorah will just be wearing scraps.
I think Jorah just needs to land in a safer place, and then he’ll have time to change his clothing. Get cleaned up a little.
hmmm a safer place?? Where? but there's no safer place in GOT

Exactly. How do you defeat dragons? Cersei is toast. Btw, does she know Dany is coming to KL and that she has dragons?

Spoiler:

I need them all to reunite again as much as I like the Starks to be reunited. The Lannisters are like the Malfoys for me, which is the family I love to hate on HP.

Thanks for posting that interview with Iain. Tbh, whoever is still on the show since S1, they should be thankful because, like what he mentioned, this show kills a character off every year. For his character to survive this long means that his story still has a purpose in the grand scheme of things.

Er..I don't think Cersei knew Dany's on her way now to Westeros but yeah I think she knew about the dragons from the small council meetings. Do you remember The Hobbit? Bard used a large bow ( ballista) to kill Smaug...Could they do the same..Build a ballista with HUGE arrows to shoot the dragons or even throw wildfire on them???

yup and I don't think he'll make it till the end. We'll have a mass killing in S8..nearly every one will die fighting or fleeing the WWs..Cool
