Glad they're both renewed
. Not really surprised thoughInteresting that they've picked up the third option. I'm not surprised... curious to see how they do it. It sounds like it'll premiere in FBI & Most Wanted before starting a bit like they're doing with SVU & Organized Crime __________________

Now. They didn't used to with Law & Order. What do they normally do with the Chicago's? An episode at the start of a show introducing it like they're doing with Organized Crime or the backdoor pilots like NCIS has & FBI Most Wanted had?

That's what I thought. Backdoor pilots are good. I wish they'd do that with the new FBI but doesn't sound like they are doing it that way
I do wonder why Dick Wolf started doing it with Chicago & now has continued it with at least FBI & MW, but never seemed to do it early on with L&O. Although SVU did get a few characters cross over to start it off & characters shuffled around a bit on those shows. Guess he decided to try it with Chicago PD, liked it & kept doing it for the rest __________________

I'm not entirely sure if PD was the plan when Fire started, Voight was brought in as an antagonist on Fire, and Antonio was brought in as Gabby's brother who didn't like him, he was the enemy, seems silly to start him like that if the plan is for a show following his unit.

Yeah I'm not sure either there. I think they just liked the characters & the idea of the story they could tell with them so went from there

Once they had one spinoff it is easy to see them finding reasons to create another. They had the opportunity there for Med
